Walking distance to shops, restaurants, etc.Posted May 2, 2015
I loved that our room had a ceiling fan. Rarely do hotels have these. It made for a really enjoyable night's sleep!

Charming close to town Hotel.Posted Apr 25, 2015
Pros: Location, great service, beautiful grounds, quiet location, comfortable bed.
Location: Starbucks and Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf a block away. Beautiful grounds, and stunning view of the dramatic desert mountains.
Convenient downtown location. Quiet residential area only over two streets from the main activity. Walk to great restaurants, bars, shopping and culture. A bit dated, but very large room with beautiful grounds. There are some renovations going on, but don't let that sway your decision to try this lovely property.

Comfortable hotel half block from main stripPosted Apr 17, 2015
Family of 5 of us, stayed Sunday thru Friday a.m. We upgraded to larger room on 3rd floor, great sitting area overlooking the busy pool. Nice music played all day, pool was great. I guess it depends on your expectations but we wanted a comfortable room, close to the main strip, without all the frills of a gym or room service (hotel is affiliated w nearby Matchbox restaurant who does fill the room service orders with $5 "mini plates," $12 charcuterie cheese plates or anything from their menu). There is strong wifi, seemingly mad decent cable tv with all the fixins as well. The hotel grounds were clean with well manicured lawns, meandering pathways between the large old fan palms and 4 gates to access the pool and spa. The hotel had one section being renovated and updated but it was kept clean and noise was kept down to the point we didnt notice at all. The hotel keeps ample groundskeepers and cleaning crew well staffed so everything was well maintained and rooms cleaned like clockwork (until we asked not to have the rooms auto-cleaned one day). I would recommend to family and friends and i will stay here again for sure, without a doubt. I'm sure the wife & kids will gladly agree with me. Pipes squired keep us awake every time the next door neighbor flushed the toilet, no vent in the restroom so it smelled like wet clothing like it had been wet for a while

Location: There is an unbelievably good Mexican restaurant in town. It's not far from the tram. We enjoyed the hike around the tram.
We drove around the hotel a few times looking for parking, valet, or the lobby. Strangely we couldn't find either. It ended up that the lobby was actually a little wooden shack on the side of the road, as the original lobby is being remodeled. There is no valet and parking for the hotel is around the corner and then across the street. Once in the room, the bed smelled of smoke, in a nonsmoking room and wasn't very comfortable. The location is walking distance to the shops and good restaurants.

I will never stay here again. Rooms are very dated and worn. Sink dripped, see outside light around the door. Door handles /locks old and in bad repair. I expect more from a 4 star and would pay more for one.

Close to everything!Posted Apr 1, 2015
A decent hotel very close to the shops, restaurants and bars in Palm Springs. Nice staff, garden and pool area. There were building works going on - but was not too noisy. The rooms could do with a bit of an update. For the price I paid, I am very satisfied with my stay.

Close to the main stripPosted Mar 24, 2015
Pros: I enjoyed the pool, and the location which was close to all the activities.
Cons: The hotel is going through some upgrades, but the carpet could use the same treatment.
It's a nice hotel situated close to the main strip. It's in good walking distance to food, entertainment, and shops. The room was a good size and had great access to the pool and fireplace area.
