For a low budget hotel, it fits the bill. I would stay there again.

Older Motel didn't have some of the things offered by the larger chains, no breakfast, not as modern either. But it offer be a nights sleep with a roof over my head.

You get what you pay for

Pros: The bath/shower combo worked fine. Room had a microwave, refrigerator, flat screen TV, and free wi-fi. Hot water and coffee available in lobby.
Cons: Clean room thoroughly; Steam clean carpet; Replace old furniture; Provide a hand wand for the drapes; Replace towels and linens; Use zero-VOC paint.
Location: Indio county fairgrounds, Salton Sea, and Joshua Tree National Park nearby.
I was surprised that I had to put in a $50 deposit for possible damage. (However, I got my deposit back.)There was patchwork done in the hallway and the hallway smelled like fresh paint. I saw food crumbs and lint underneath the head board, so I pushed the mattress in so I wouldn't see it.

Pros: I liked the cleanliness, staffing and easy access to the room from the parking for this motel.
Cons: The furnishings were old, ugly, did not match, but were serviceable.
Location: I chose this motel for it's close proximity to our favorite restaurant, Cactus Jacks, as well as the polo grounds were I was attending the dog shows.
This was a clean, worry-free place to stay for a reasonable price while attending the Indio dog shows.

Nice place to stay while visiting family.

Cons: TV was not working in the room. Not very important to me, only mentioned it on my way out.
I was visiting my son who has stayed at the hotel before. Not really fancy but nice people and a good location. Food next door was good. Pool and hot tub were clean. Close to stores. Quiet.
