Palm Springs tired motel

Posted May 31, 2015
Pros: The balcony, which was almost impossible to access due to the difficulty of unlocking the door. It helped to have it out of the downtown area.
Cons: Remodel the place by having fewer rooms. Make the rooms larger, especially the bathrooms.
Location: It was close to downtown, with restaurants and the casino.
Palm Springs motels are sold and renamed on a regular basis, with a bit of paint to freshen them up . They need more than paint. The bathroom was so small, I dripped water on the floor trying to wash my face. I banged my head into a corner of the tile in the shower trying to pick up my bottle of shampoo. And the air conditioner sounded as loud as a jet engine.

Looks good in photos-but terrible

Posted May 26, 2015
Very bad experience. Dirty, dark room. Given disabled room which was not requested-not convenient for non-disabled person. Felt unsafe. Requested a different room for 2nd night, was promised it would be ready for me when I returned in the evening from day out-so packed my bags and kept them in my hot car all day while I was out, came back and the desk knew nothing about the room change and no rooms available. I am just lucky that they didn't give away my original horrible room so I had someplace to sleep. Will never go back and will not recommend. The staff was nice and apologetic. I think they apologize a lot. They did give me a discount on my bill-but, still a very bad experience.

Nice two night stay for 1st time in Palm Springs

Posted May 25, 2015
Got in late, the hotel staff was friendly and helpful. I asked where there were places to eat and hike and I got good answers. I had to check out at 3:30 am and the staff at that time was also very friendly. It was quick and easy. Very enjoyable trip! I would definitely go back.

Rundown and overprived

Posted May 25, 2015
Dirty pool and spa, no towels, ice machine usually out of ice, ground-floor room "balcony" door not at all secure, rates were raised for memorial day weekend, but still way too much for a basic room in a hotel with no cafe or room service, no on-site shop, almost no amenities, This very clearly a motel past its prime, not a hotel.

Will not be going back any time soon

Posted May 19, 2015
Our first stay, and our last. The room was very small and smelled funny. The air conditioner did not work. Throughout our stay, the ice machine didn't work, and when I asked the front desk to get some ice for me, they were rude and put off. The bed and pillows were terrible. The doors between the adjoining rooms did not seal, so every single noise (and I mean EVERY noise) was easily audible. Nothing like the website. Not even close.

Adequate. Good for young people.

Posted May 18, 2015
Pros: Location.
We needed a last minute place to stay with a pet. Most of our usual places were booked solid. This was adequate, although a bit overpriced for what you got. Geared towards a younger crowd.

Not impressed

Posted May 18, 2015
Pros: Price
Room in dire need of updating. Window doesn't lock, shower very tiny, lampshades all broken.
