Colourful and accessible

Posted Apr 21, 2015
Pros: The room and the pool.
Cons: The body of the hotel, the hallways and little bits like that.
Location: Good location, near banks and a little shopping area. Shuttle makes it accessible and if you have a car then that's ideal.
Stayed at this hotel after Coachella as a stop between Palm Springs and LA. They have a Spa, (didn't use this facility), they host yoga classes and have a decent sized pool. There is a supermarket over the road with a few eating places and the best cake shop where you will get the best chocolate chop cookie ever! Quite handy that they have a fee shuttle that usually runs every hour to downtown Palm Springs and stops about 9pm. Downtown it is a bit more happening and there is a strip of shops and places to eat which is good to occupy your evening, great way of saving money on taxis, we did this and got a taxi from Downtown to the Tram. The rooms are colourful, cool and really spacious. The hallways are a bit shabby, but you aren't staying in the hallways so not really a concern. They have a restaurant and then a different bar area which is reasonably priced. Taco Tuesdays for $2 was a bargain deal!

Well located easy acess to shopping and restaurant

Spent the night here pre Coachella Safari camping to load up on supplies . What a pleasant surprise , it's a 3 star hotel ( not a bad thing , but not a four star). The staff are what makes this place WORK!! 5 star service from top to bottom , all the staff smiling all the time and looking like they enjoy what they do , it's contagious .... Most of the 4-5 star hotels I stay at could learn a thing or two from this establishment .awsome pool area with great views. Would not hesitate to recommend .

The hotel was very cozy, different and quaint but when I started speaking to the employees my view of the hotel immediately changed. The girl in the front desk seemed confused and was very snobby, we couldn't bring out our coffee that we brought in... The hotel walls were way too bright, the bed was comfy tho, I can give them that. But overall it was a disappointing experience

Centrally located hotel

Posted Apr 11, 2015
Pros: We loved all the colors- so cheerful and inviting.
Cons: The hallways were rather drab and the rugs in the hallways very worn. The rugs in the rooms showed their age as well.
Location: Good location and close to downtown Palm Springs
We loved the uniqueness of this so very colorful hotel. Everything was very bright and cheerful. We had a pleasant one night stay.

Hotel front clerk was not efficient

Posted Apr 9, 2015
Pros: Nothing
Cons: More efficient hotel staff attention to the customers
Location: Not a good location
The front hotel clerk was on the personal call . She didn't even have a courtesy to tell us to wait .

quick / refreshing getaway

Posted Apr 4, 2015
Pros: The colorful decor was cheerful and fun. The restaurants were good. The pool is great. Despite a one night stay it was quite relaxing and lovely.
Cons: The hallways could use some artwork or something to make them feel less sterile. This is pretty nit-picky though.
Location: It is in the south side of the city on a fairly large street. It didn't seem like there was much to walk to, but there is a little bit.
We needed a hotel room for one night and just wanted a place with a decent pool. We stayed midweek and the price was quite reasonable. I found that the price through expedia was cheaper than going through the hotel directly. The location is a bit outside of the downtown area, but the hotel offered a shuttle. however, we didn't use it. Overall the place is pretty nice. The hallways had a slightly rundown and uninteresting feel, but the rooms were nice and comfortable. They gave us an upgrade from a mountain view (outside facing) to a pool facing room. That was nice and surprisingly not too loud. The courtyard / pool area in the center of the building is quite nice. The pool and hot tubs were great and open late. There is a lot of lounge chairs around the pool. With a 12pm check out we had plenty of time to hang out by the pool before we had to head out.

Great hotel and location

I really enjoyed staying at the hotel. The property was well situated and a good size. The rooms were comfortable and we loved the colourful decor and our view of the pool. I visited with two children, aged 8 and 11 and it was perfect for us. We will definitely visit again.

Nice hotel with outdoor pool.

This hotel has poolside service from the bar, we had a delicious lunch and drinks there daily while soaking up the sun. They also offer daily yoga and the use of the hotels bikes to guests during daylight hours.
