A must try!

This place is very cool. It's like nothing you have seen before. The new rooms are so darn pretty and the massage was hands down the best I have had. Spa facilities need some updating but they do have character. Do the welcome card tarot reading with Donna. It's very special.

Lovely getaway

Two Bunch Palms delivers again - beautiful room near the grotto, wonderful food with a million dollar view and quiet time in the warm, mineral water. If you have the chance, go. This resort is well worth your time and money.

Romantic Get Away

Posted Jan 31, 2015
Pros: Everything.
Location: Desert Hot Springs has plenty to do - Joshua Tree, Palm Springs Aerial Tram, Shopping, golf and gaming, but why would you want to leave Two Bunch?
Two Bunch is the type of resort that seems to exist in it's own reality. The grounds are beautiful, the rooms comfortable. The restaurant serves delicious and healthy food. The vista of desert and mountains transports the soul. And the mineral hot springs soak away the pain and stress of modern life.

I spent the weekend at the Hotel alone and I enjoyed the spa and grotto. The restaurant is also quite good and the property is beautiful.

So much to learn

Posted Jan 13, 2015
Pros: The staff was fairly nice.
Cons: The decor, music, environment. Check in times should be earlier. Less outside guests allowed. More advice for guest to pre-book services.
Location: nothing that I could see you're in a neighborhood.
Firstly I am taking in to account that I happened to book a stay in probably one of the busiest and coldest days in the history of this place. It had been raining off and on and it was around 55 degrees during the day. Ew! There is a very late check in of 4 o'clock but you have to check out by noon. So it's not a good value for the time there. If you want a massage, mud bath or any of the services please be forewarned book these weeks in advance. I mistakenly assumed that it would be easy to get these. Most of this place felt lost in time, not in a good way. Kind of bad 80's, although our room was remodeled and was modern and fairly pleasing. It was clean and the house keeper was really nice. It was however about an 8 minute walk from the grotto and on a cold rainy night because we couldn't check in until 4:10 it got dark fast, it felt too cold to enjoy a hot spring and then walk back. Yes we could of taken our clothes with us or driven. I wasn't feeling like that. A lot of work after a 3 hour drive. The grotto was crowded, a very mixed crowd from hipsters, couples making out, rowdy college aged guys. They allow day visitors so it's not that intimate. The dinner was healthy but really bland. There was a guy playing New Age Jazz a bit too loudly for conversation. Not sure how many people enjoy that style of music. We left, did not spend the night, did not care I payed for something unused. It sits in a suburban neighborhood i thought it would be in a natural setting.

Better than ever

Posted Jan 12, 2015
Pros: Natural Hot Springs, restaurant's vegetable juices and cocktails, massage services.
Cons: One of our waitresses at the Essence restaurant seemed more interested in her cell phone than us, but that was an isolated incident.
Location: Enjoy the hotel's amazing landscaping and fruit trees, bicycling in Joshua Tree and Palm Springs and sushi at Dom Sushi in Desert Hot Springs.
This was our third stay at Two Bunch Palms in the past three years. We love it and it's our first choice when looking for a convenient weekend getaway. The grounds are in top-top shape, the rooms are comfortable and well laid out, and the staff were effective and friendly.

Nice hotel pool and Jacuzzi are too far from rooms

Posted Jan 6, 2015
Pros: the yoga classes, the pool and mineral water
Cons: More pools and Jacuzzi
Had to wait 2 hours to get my keys to the room, but the pool , mineral water and beauty of the place made up for the lack of service,
