Back again

Posted Jul 1, 2015
Pros: The free breakfast is a great way to start the day. The real keys are a unique feature you do not see much any more.
Cons: This visit, the pool was too warm, not refreshing.
Location: The Moorten Botanic Garden and Cactarium are within walking distance. Very unique. Huel Howser did a California's Gold program about this place.
We have been here many times before and always enjoy our stay. It is a great value and well located in the Palm Springs area.

Hotel neat and tidy

Posted Jun 29, 2015
Pros: Reasonably priced and I was surprised by how tidy it was.
Cons: Group at pool had loud music
Location: Great location to access Main Street and restaurants.
We had a pleasant stay at hotel. After a day sightseeing were looking forward to a relaxing time at the pool. Very loud music from group at pool meant this was not possible. Otherwise no interruptions at night.

Gemütliches Motel mit Pool

Posted Jun 29, 2015

HOT HOT ROOM

Posted Jun 25, 2015
Pros: The pool
Cons: The air conditioning is TERRIBLE!
Location: decent location if you want to be near downtown.
They have central air that is programmed to what they feel is fit so you have no control and it is shared between all rooms. It was 114 outside and about 80 in my room. Wasn't able to sleep. Their solution was to give me a fan and they would discuss with maintenance in the morning. Was a nice 65 degrees in the office so that was a bit irritating as well. I left my trip a day early so I wouldn't have to have another sleepless night in the heat. I did not ask for a refund so I lost that money. If you are ok sleeping in the heat then stay there. Nice pool open 7am-11pm.

Nice Stay !

Posted Jun 20, 2015
Pros: Very friendly staff. Breakfast is very good ! They have waffles you make it yourself! Have danish, bagels, 4 different types cereal, bread for toast.
Cons: I did leave a maintance form stating the batteries on tv remote, 2nd chair and table missing out of room.
Location: Stayed at Palm Springs, Ca location. I always stay there ! It's my home away from home when in Palm Springs !!!!!! Eat lunch/dinner at Elmer's.
Had my 94 year old mother with me and she had to walk for awhile to get to room. She was very tired by the time we arrived at room. Not enough handicap parking!

Paid for an upgraded room with pool view but....

Posted Jun 7, 2015
our room was a disaster. it smelled like wet paint and has construction materials when we came. the paint in the sink wasn't dry yet and was wrapped with plastic so they asked us not to use the sink for an hour or so.... we didn't care.... but when we saw the bathroom there was the BIGGEST ROACH on Earth!!! it was the WORST. I can't believe we paid for an upgraded room and encountered all these problems. the staff was helpful but it took them forever to get to us and fix the problem. the pool was dirty too.

Decent hotel for a getaway.

Posted Jun 7, 2015
Pros: It's clean and comfortable king sized bed to sleep on. Plus the breakfast was really good too.
Cons: The showers need plastic curtains to keep the water from getting on the floor. The pool needs more cleaning with the palm stuff in it.
Location: The location wasn't bad close to town. I don't know it well there and wasn't exploring much. The air museum was close by and worth seeing.
My boyfriend and I were looking for a nice clean hotel with a nice sized pool to swim in for a weekender. I haven't been to Palm Springs in a few years. The two things that needed attention was the stuff in the pool. And the showers need an inside plastic shower curtain because the water goes onto the floor. Other then that the bed was very comfortable and the room was clean and roomy. Of course there was a sign stating the palm trees were getting trimmed up so maybe the pool will be cleaner.
