Our room was nicer than expected. However, if there was anything negative at all, it would be the shower had dual showerheads, of which one did not work. The biggest surprise was the washer and dryer in the room.

Enjoyed Our Stay.

Posted May 11, 2015
Pros: The Staff was very helpful and very friendly.
Cons: Don't rely on your Car's GPS... especially if you are trying to find the Resort from the east... you can't get there from here... Check a map or call
Location: Not far from the River Shopping Center where major restaurants and entertainment venues are located.
I was pleased to find Westin Desert Willow Villas a very comfortable place to stay on our trip back from Sedona to Carpinteria. The staff made us feel at home and took care of our every need in a friendly manner. We did have a problem working the TV and they sent an engineer within a few minutes to fix it... another problem with a door lock fixed in a flash. The Bar was a great spot to relax and enjoy a huge Margarita and Sliders... great view of the valley. We will be back.

One Night Stay

Posted May 6, 2015
Hotel Staff was very good with the exception of our Check-in Person. He was not knowledgeable about the facilities (specifically the Golf Courses), and he was argumentative about a mistake that Expedia/Westin had made. We quickly found another individual that was receptive and knowledgeable! The facilities were clean and comfortable, and the grill at the golf course was very good. The Fire Cliff Golf Course had a problem with their greens (frost related earlier in the season??)...this was not mentioned prior to paying to play, but should have been, as this definitely detracted from the Golf experience/stay. There was enough positive however, that we will return to give them another chance.

Cons: The food at the pool was a little expensive. $100 for 4 people with 2 beers.
Nice hotel. Only issue was the construction that started every morning at 8 am.

Expensive Cave

Posted Mar 31, 2015
We were put in a room that felt like a dark cave. We begged the front desk to move us because we were there for four days, but they made no effort.

Nice resort with horrible staff.

This resort is very nice for families with kids. If you are not traveling with kids it sucks because they allow kids to use what is supposed to be the adult pool area. Ir was very loud and annoying with kids everywhere. They had security staff at the pool watching everyone like Hawks. Very intrusive! They yelled at us for moving an umbrella a few inches very rudly. The front desk help was very rude to my adult daughter when she Went to get a new room card when ours did not work. When we were locked out of our room a second time, in 100 degree heat due to card not working they drilled us at our door asking for idtifcation that was locked in the room. They made us feel like criminals most of the time while there. I could go on on on.. The staff at the front desk showed absolutely no customer service. We had to go back and forth in very hot weather to front desk trying to get our luggage from the none existent bell hop outside. I did bring to the staffs attention that we were not happy with the staff and they did nothing to remedy the problems we were having and could have cared less. I will not stay here again!
