Can't fault this hotel to be honest. From the lovely warm welcome from Anna, the beautiful room, the gorgeous architecture, the service from all the staff, the pretty roof terrace, to the peaceful yet convenient location. Counting the days until we can return.

The wife and I had a great midweek break in Palma at this spotlessly clean hotel. The location is perfect for all the sights and restaurants. It is easy to get to from the airport on bus number 1.
The only thing I have to mention is one of the reception staff at check in was not very friendly but the rest of the staff were great.

We found almost everything first class about this hotel, the only downside was there was absolutely nothing going on in the evenings, some live gentle music would have been nice so that people could dance if they wished whilst having a drink after dinner.

We stayed in a Calatrava Suite, which was based on the second floor. The room was large and airy, with a pleasant balcony area, although not high enough to get a good view of the sea. If we stayed here again we would ask for a room on the fourth or fifth floor. Just a 10 minute walk to the cathedral and 15 minutes to the marina. Walking back at night not a problem as the area was well lit. Based in the old town area we got a good nights sleep even with the balcony door open. Noise from the main road, the other side of the park was not bothersome. Palma is a lovely place with plenty to do, we had two full days but wished that we could have stayed another two days to fit everything in. Plenty of places to eat within 15 minutes of the hotel. Everyone we dealt with, both at the hotel and outside were friendly and helpful.

We spent three nights at The Can Cera which is perfectly situated for exploring Palma. The staff were extremely attentive and professional. Welcoming glass of Cava on arrival whilst we were checked in. We ate at the hotel for one lunch and dinner. Quality of the food was excellent.

Great breakfast, good value restaurant for dining in, quiet room. Good value for money.
Not so good: very patchy wifi outside communal areas, cleaners occasionally noisy in early morning, nowhere dedicated to park a car (and parking in Palma horrendous), not very appealing public lounge, irritating and all pervasive background music (actually computer generated 'non-music'). Complained about the latter - receptionist said 'the owner is very keen on it'. It was one reason for looking for somewhere else to dine on our last few days.

The island capital, Palma de Mallorca is one of Spain’s most appealing small cities. The highlight of the atmospheric Old Town is its magnificent Gothic cathedral. There are Renaissance palaces and buildings to explore the Palau de l’Almudaina is recommended and inviting small modern museums, galleries, and first rate shopping. In the evenings, authentic Mallorcan tapas bars and restaurants rub shoulders with sophisticated nightspots.
