"Stay here, but keep one thing in mind..."
First off, yes, you should stay here. It was a pleasant experience, beautiful grounds, nice pool, friendly staff, etc. But, you must clearly understand something before you arrive, and if you understand this going into it, your experience will be just fine! Here it is: Latinos (and I am one) have a relatively laid-back, nonchalant mindset. For example, one day upon returning to our hotel room, we found 3 clean towels (instead of 4 that we had upon arrival), and no wash cloths (of which we had 1 upon arrival). The beds were well made, and everything looked very clean, though. The next day, we had the correct # of towels, but no trash bag in the trash cans, and no new soap. Yes, we could have asked for missing items at the front desk, but like I said, we had the "understanding" going in from the start. Here's another example, one morning we ate at the breakfast buffet. The food was great, and so was the service! We were told there were several pricing options, depending on what you eat or don't eat. For example, ordering an omelette was at a higher price point (makes sense). The next day we ate there, we were automatically charged the higher price, but we didn't order any omelettes, and were told by the wait staff that there was only one price for the buffet, regardless of what was eaten. See the inconsistencies? These things didn't really matter that much to us, while it may to others. Going in with the proper "understanding" will make all the difference. Overall: very good!
