We were toward the end of a month long driving trip around Spain and Portugal and each Medieval town seemed better than the last. We only planned one night in Pamplona at this hotel and it should have been more. Finding it by car was a challenge as we could see it but had to be encouraged to drive across full square block plaza with no other cars on it, to the door.
It is totally a renovated boutique hotel with Hemingway and older history memorabilia everywhere. Our room was on the 4th floor with a small balcony right over a narrow street where the bulls run in July. I can't imagine a better place to experience that. Visit it anytime but especially during the Running of the Bulls. We might someday.
