Panagia Episkopi (Mesa Gonia) hotels in Santorini Island, Greece

Recommended: I recently stayed at the Horizon Resort for two nights. We absolutely loved it! Our flight landed in Santorini at 7am so we went to the hotel planning on just dropping off our luggage and then leaving to explore the island. To our surprise, our room was available and we were checked in without any hesitation. Our room was beautiful, clean, and had a balcony. The pool area of the hotel is also fantastic! The hotel is further from the beach than we thought, although you can easily walk. The town of Kamari is perfect and much more relaxed than the busy side of the island. We rented ATVs and easily saw everything we wanted to in two days. We would definitely stay at the Horizon again! See all reviews for this hotel

Recommended: If you plan on staying in perissa, then this is a beautiful place to stay. it is within walking distance to the black sand beach(less than 5 min). the pool is beautiful and a nice comfort is the bar on premisis. The rooms are on the small side and our double bed consisted of two twin beds pushed together. the bathrooms are tiny and the shower only had a wand that you must lift to wash yourself.unless you plan on staying in your room during your vacation i recommend this place on this part of the island See all reviews for this hotel

Recommended: What can I say, wonderful hotel, great staff that made our stay in Santorini very enjoyable. Very clean, complementary breakfast was great, the pool and grounds were impeccable. Car rental was quickly arranged by the hotel staff, as were recommendations on where to go on the island. The best feature about this hotel was the wonderful staff. Recommended: The Staff was really helpful (spoke english well) and the breakfast was really great every morning. It was less than 5 minutes to the black beach in Perissa. Within really close walking distance to 24 hr bakery, car rental places, grocery, many restaurants, bars (lots), bus stop etc. Our matrasses weren't the greatest so older people may not like that. Recommended: My boyfriend and I had a great stay in Santorini. Atalos is a great place to stay in at Kamari Beach for a very good price. Our room was very clean and very comfortable. The pool was also very nice. It even had a little kitchenette with a stove and fridge. The owner and his staff were all very pleasant and helpful. They even offer free drop offs and pick ups to and from the airport. Taxi ride will cost you approx. 20-25 euros to Kamari and will be difficult to arrange for if you have an early flight. Atalos is only walking distance to the beach, about a block away from all the shops, endless number of restaurants and pubs. It's very easy and cheap to get around by transit bus; fare is about 1.40 euros one way to Fira. I highly recommend this hotel if you plan to stay in Santorini for a few days or even a few weeks. Recommended: Spyros and Diane were great hosts and the hotel was clean with a nice pool and bar. Angie makes awesome mohitos.Breakfast is offered every morning. Lots of cafes,bars on the strip with lots of choices to eat. The Boat House Hotel is a good value for the money. I can't wait to return next year. See all reviews for this hotel

Not recommended: We stayed here for 5 nights. Bring your soap, shamphoo,.... There is no daily cleaning service! They have rude staff. The rooms are not as they appear on the pictures. They are small and dirty. When we asked for a biggger room, they said there was nothing available, even when we SAW the empty rooms. Only one person of all the staff speaks broken english. The air conditioning also broke. The continental breakfast is very short and small. Also, our kids did not like the pool at all, it was so small. The location is good only 50 m away from the beach. We saw many better hotels, too, for cheaper. If you are a business worker, there is no Wi-fi. Not worth the stay. See all reviews for this hotel
