Pet Friendly? NOT!

Posted Nov 4, 2014
Pros: The view of the Gulf was awesome.
My husband and I drove over 6 hours from Tampa to the Boardwalk for a one night stay the end of August. We have two small dogs that we brought with us. We arrived around 3:30 in the afternoon. We thought we reserved one of the condos but we were wrong. No big deal, it was just one night. Once we found the right place (even the security person at the gate did not know where we were supposed to go), check in was a snap. Parking is almost non-existant. When we finally found the elevator, the wall with the button had a large chunk missing that looked like it had been patched up to hold the button in place. There was no A/C in the elevator. We got everything up to our room which was another disappointment. The wall by the beds looked the same as the wall for the elevator button! There was a bunk bed being used as a couch. The TV was the old style boxy kind and had about a 19 inch screen if that. We left to meet my family for dinner around 4:40PM. We got back around 8PM. Our key did not work on our door. My husband went to the Front Desk while I waited outside the room. There were no lights on the walkway outside the rooms. While waiting, I saw a security person walking up and asked her if she had a master key. She said she did but could not use it to let guests into their rooms.

Water came in under the door and around the windows in a rain storm, room had no pictures on the wall, beds had no headboards and there was no table with chairs in the room other than an office desk. There was nothing to prop your suitcase up on and not enough drawers to put up your clothes.

Older run down hotel

Posted Oct 15, 2014
There were no headboards on the beds.....The beds themselves were extremely old and broken down..... Only 2 pillows per bed and we had to ask for more....no ice bucket or cups,we had to use bottled water to brush our teeth..A/C was very good....No bars of soap, just a dispenser in the tub..Not recommended for adults,OK for the college beach crowd....

Nice hotel on the beach

Posted Oct 14, 2014
Pros: nice private beach, friendly staff
Cons: nicer rooms/furnishings
Location: fabulous private beach less than a mile's walk from Pineapple Willy's
The rooms were what I expected for the price, the beach was BEAUTIFUL and it was one of the most pleasing beach experiences I have ever had. My husband loved the onsite restaurant/bar, the Rusty Anchor. The bartender was exceedingly nice and friendly, and he thought the game day special price for the wings made the whole stay worthwhile, lol!

Don't go there!

Pros: Very little. PCBeach is beautiful.
Cons: Everything.
Old. Smelly. Rundown. No closet or even a hook to hang clothes. Advertised as oceanfront, but that's all it was because it didn't have a balcony to experience that beautiful view. No "Do Not Disturb" sign to keep out a early housekeeping visit. They lost our Expedia reservations and wanted to make us wait around until they found them, even though they weren't full. Then got an "attitude" when we asked for a room anyway, even though they couldn't locate our reservation. Wish I had left at that point, but hadn't seen the rooms yet. :( Very disappointed and probably the worst hotel I've ever been in. Wouldn't recommend to anyone. It did appear to have clean sheets and a clean bathroom. That's about the only positive thing I can say.
