It was fine to sleep in. Not high quality at this point. Pool and beach with fishing pier was nice. Front desk did not answer phone. Had to walk a long way for ice that had to be unlocked by staff.

When planning a trip to Panama City make sure you stay in the right city. There are 2 cities down here. Panama City and Panama City Beach. This hotel is in Panama City and is falling apart. It is also about 15 to 20 miles from the good beaches. Other tourists will be in Panama City beach. I don't know if there is a water treatment plant close by but it smelled so bad that my wife could stop gagging. I call the owner and talked to him personally and he wouldn't work with me to stay at another Days Inn in Panama City Beach. I also mentioned that I worked for the Armed Forces and was trying to show my deserving wife a good time after being out of the country for 3 years. He couldn't care less. He looked like some old looking, gold chain wearing pimp. I told him that I can't stay there can he give me half of the money back or ANYTHING for that matter and he said he can't do anything about it. He knows his hotel sucks and he is using Expedia to bring in business. I can't believe that Days Inn Corp is allowing him to carry their name. I won't stay at another Day's Inn ever.
