Beach Vacation

Posted Jul 29, 2014
Pros: Comfort.
Cons: All rooms should have a microwave and refrigerator.
Location: Great location. Many restaurants and stores. Not far from Panama Beach.
Great location from the beach. Only 15 minute drive from the beach and Pier Park. Close to a variety of restaurants, the mall, and retail stores.

Great Motel for a diving trip. We just needed a place to rest at night and the experience was excellent.

Small Things Leave A Big Impression

Posted Jul 28, 2014
Needed a one-night stay with a roll-away bed, which I stopped in the day before our stay to request. I was told then I'd have to come in the day of our stay and it would be first come, first serve. Since we were out of town the following day, I called to again request the roll-away bed and was told it'd been put on the reservation. We checked in at 1 AM Saturday night for a 3 1/2 hour stay (had to leave by 4:30 AM Sunday to catch a flight) and there was no roll-away. Called the front desk and was told one was available for an additional $10 charge. I relayed how we'd contacted the hotel directly 2 times in 2 days and was not told of the charge and would only be in the room for 3 hours, and was told if I wanted the roll-away, I had to pay the charge. Very disappointing customer service for an already stressed stay.

PET FRIENDLY HOTEL

Posted Jul 15, 2014
Pros: The bed was very comfortable and clean.
Cons: Friendlier staff members, cleaner bathrooms and fix your water hammer sounds. If you are going to advertise as "Pet Friendly" then be pet friendly.
Location: Location was corner of 231 and 23rd st.
When we arrived the front desk clerk was not friendly at all. Seemed to be a chore for her to assist us. The bathroom was not as clean as I'd expect and anytime the room next to us used their water there was a loud water hammer sound that continued for several minutes. Very distracting at 5 am. When you think of a "pet friendly" hotel you would expect to hear dogs barking and people who are not pet friendly should consider staying somewhere else. We had our small poodle with us who is not a barker normally. He did really well Friday and Sat when we left him for short periods of time. Then on Sunday we got a call he was barking and we returned to hotel within 30 mins of the call. We were locked out of our room and a notice on the door. when we went to front desk the clerk was very rude and said, This is your final notice. It was our ONLY NOTICE. It was a Sunday afternoon and the only person we saw on that floor was a staff cleaning lady. Our dog was not barking until we started to open our door. I'm not saying he didn't bark because if he heard someone running sweeper he would bark. But let me tell you He was NOT as loud as guests coming in at midnight running and laughing in the halls. We heard other dogs barking which I would expect in a "PET FRIENDLY" hotel. I was very disappointed in our stay and will never stay there again.

Nice hotel close to hospitals

Posted Jul 13, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Noise
Location: Near mall and gulf coast hospital
Loud. Doors bang when they shut, loud enough to wake me up several times. Elevator is very slow. Just across the street from an active railroad.

This hotel was great. There was not one thing wrong with it. We enjoyed our stay. FYI: the hotel is right next to the highway so you will hear traffic during the daytime. Would definitely stay here again!!
