“Nice place”

The hotel itself was very nice and extremely friendly staff. If you need to use internet, it has to be the slowest I have ever used. I ended up tethering to my cell phone and got a faster connection with barely any signal on that.

This Microtel is a clean, comfortable economy hotel that delivers great value for the money. My room was small but clean and comfortable ... the bed was exceptional! The flat screen TV was a nice touch. I think Microtel is a very solid chain and I would choose it anytime for economy lodgings. You get a lot for the money.

“Can't beat it for the price!”

I booked this hotel after reading the reviews on Expedia. I was not disappointed. Yes, the rooms are small, but that's the point. It was extremely clean and well-maintained. The service was exceptional. we returned to our room at an odd hour while we were there, and heard the housekeeper in the two rooms on either side. I thought we would just not get our room cleaned that day; instead she paid attention to when we left and came in after we were gone again and cleaned our room. The hotel is near everything, and only a short drive to the beach, but is far enough off of the main road that it was quiet at night. We will definitely stay there again when we go back to Panama City.

“"Not Impressed"”

Before you check into this hotel, keep in mind the name "Micro", hence the room are exceptionally. To make things worse, a small room combined with a below window AC unit. This makes for a very noisy room.

I was there on business, it was quiet and clean and most of all the bed with the pillow top was fantastic and lots of pillows. I will definitely stay there again in the future.
