Convenient location, good value, nice beach, old.

We enjoyed the stay because of realistic expectations. The only disappointment was the booking listed a king and double bed room turned out to be a king and fold out couch.

Nice because it was on the beach!

Posted Sep 4, 2014
Pros: Easy to check in!
Cons: Cleaning of the rooms! We had new towels every day and the bed was made but they forgot to leave new Coffee packs!
Location: It was near everything we enjoyed!
Stay was good because it was close to the Pier Park!

Should be named Sea Hell not Seahaven

Posted Sep 4, 2014
Pros: Close to the beach but not worth it.
Cons: It should be completely remodeled or torn down.
Location: On the beach.
This was the nastiest hotel I have ever experienced and that includes places I've stayed in third world countries. The photos and description were so deceiving. The pillow cases and sheets looked dirty, no blankets other than the sheet, the floors were dirty, the ceiling was brown and black and looked as if it would start falling. The bathroom ceiling was the same and the tub was still dirty with hair in it. Within minutes I was on a travel site booking a hotel on the parkway for our final two nights. We ended up using the Seahaven to change clothes for going to and coming from the beach. Do yourself a favor and spend a little bit more somewhere else. I wish we had. I ended up spending more money than if I had just done that instead. This place is suitable for 18 year old college kids and that's about it. Didn't have much contact with the staff other than check in and it was painless.

I would not recommend this hotel to a family. It was ok to lay your head down and try to sleep but sleep did not come easily. It was very noisy and the whole unit needs updating. Air conditioner worked well but also very noisy. No water pressure in shower.

Well... the beach was beautiful

Posted Aug 27, 2014
Pros: Proximity to Sharkey's Bar and Grill, two-room King bed suite, good range of cable channels, not crowded, not a lot of party animals
Cons: The overall appearance and upkeep. It just needs a major overhaul, especially the pool and tanning deck area. And more luggage carts!
Location: Location was good as it was close to Sharkey's and Pier Park. The new Pier Park North and a Wal-Mart is an easy drive from the hotel.
I've been a regular visitor to PCB all of my life. I'm not in the habit of slamming hotels and I'm sure a few years ago this hotel was nice... but that was unfortunately a few years ago. If you just want a place to lay your head and shower, then this is the place for you. The hotel is just shabby all around from the pool to the elevators to the steps to the beach. The luggage carts (when one could be found) were rickety. That doesn't seem like a big deal until you are faced with hauling your luggage up to the sixth floor! LOL... Also, the elevator would not come up the sixth floor. On the plus side, the room was clean enough and surprisingly the shower had a plentiful supply of hot water. The cable had a good range of channels. Don't know if there was wifi as I did not want to look at my computer. The staff was friendly and one of the housekeeping staff helped us tote our luggage up to the sixth floor when he couldn't find a luggage cart. The hotel is right next door to Sharkey's, our favorite bar and grill on the beach. So, if you REALLY don't care about the room, then this is the place for you.

THE HOTEL WASN'T WHAT IT LOOKED LIKE ONLINE. THE ROOM WAS NOT COMFORTABLE AT ALL. WE COULDN'T WAIT TO LEAVE. I'M GLAD I ONLY BOOKED ONE NIGHT. WE LEFT THERE THE NEXT MORNING & WENT TO ANOTHER HOTEL.

For the price this was a nice location and the rooms average. meet the needs of our group but could have been better. one of the 4 rooms had a water leak the caused the carpet to be wet and the room to smell.
