Beware of many extra chargesPosted Dec 2, 2013 on Hotels.com
This should not be featured on hotels.com because it is a condo rental. You have to pay and extra 130$ fee for cleaning and they do not clean until you leave. Also, a 75$ fee to use the pools, gym and beach access. Going to a hotel that includes everything is what I prefer. Also the carpet needed cleaned or replaced in room 1002 in tower 1. I was impressed by how large the condo was if you have a large family. The bunk beds are seperate than the main bedroom for privacy.

well, its okPosted Nov 25, 2013 on Hotels.com
So, the point of staying in a condo (or main point, in my opinion) is to have the kitchen/washer-dryer extras. The unit we stayed in on this visit was sad. Firstly, we walked in to dirt on all of the floors, no paper towels, 1 bar of soap and no laundry soap for the washer. It appeared to have not been maintained as the shower head leaked, the handle for the toilet was broken and dust was laden on the fan/t.v./light fixtures/console. I've never stayed at a condo that lacked and/or skimped on all of the aforementioned. The resort itself was nice. The outdoor pool area was very attractive (although too cold to use when we were there) and the indoor pool area (which was usable and heated) was small but decent. We booked the condo through hotels.com so when we arrive we were directed to another building for check-in and then had to return to the main building to check-in (again) and pay $70.00 for wrist bands so that we could have access to the 'amenities' of the resort. This resort 'nickeled and dimed' us at every turn and this, coupled with the unit (and its issues) translates to a no-planned-return-visit to this particular facility for us in the future. It earned 3 a star rating from us based on the attractive pool area that led to the outside beach access, which is absolutely a beautiful beach. But, make sure you drop the $70 for the wrist bands or you won't be able to enjoy the beach access from the resort.

Hotel on magnificent beachPosted Oct 27, 2013
Pros: Beautiful hotel and grounds. High speed elevators were wonderful.
Cons: Back to the carpet
Location: In the center of Panama City and lots to do
Beautiful hotel though room needed some work. Carpet was old and showing it. Not a good idea to walk barefoot because the srrips holding the carpet would stick your feet with those tacks. Room was dusty. For what we paid, that room was awful dusty

Nice location to area attractions and beach front.Posted Oct 14, 2013
Good, loved the room. Big issue with doing own cleaning and having to pay 150.00 clean up fee for after we leave.

Cleanliness & Front Desk StaffPosted Oct 14, 2013
Pros: The Room was Wonderful everything was perfect for that room, the View was just breath taking
Cons: The Front Desk Staff at the Hotel could be more helpful and Friendly
Location: Everything was within walking distance
When we checked in our room the room was Not cleaned very good, we found 2 pairs of kids socks in the Dresser drawer and we house gabage in the Kitchen on the floor(Milk top plastic) and also in the Bedroom we also found the back of an earing on the bathroom floor and by the dresser we found the front of the earing. This was very dissapointing to us because we paid $140.00 for the cleaning of our room when we checked out. We made sure the towels were all in the bathtub like required and we vaccumed the day we left as well. The girl who checked us in at the Collection Resort Building(not in the Hotel) was very helpful and Friendly, the Staff in the Hotel at the Front desk was very rude and not helpful at all.

One of the worst resorts..Posted Oct 12, 2013
This resort condos are owned by different people or groups, thus the staff at the resorts are no help to your stay. You actually have to contact whoever is a contractor for your rooms for whatever possible needs in your room such as extra towels, fixing appliances ans so forth. I booked two different rooms and they could not even give me rooms that are on the same floor. My paticular room had very old appliances, my garbage disposal which the management company had fixed the next day wasn't working upon arrival, and the refrigerator was so loud all day long that it was almost impossible to sleep. The sofa bed was just a joke. It was very uncomfortable even for elementary kids to sleep. Only thing I liked about it is that it was beach front. I would stay here again nor would recommend this hotel to anyone.
