This is our fourth stay at the Pearl. The front desk had someone “new” at the front desk so check in was not as efficient as it normally was in prior visits. I did receive a phone call after we had left stating that our credit card information had not made it into the system for payment of resort fees. I called immediately and was told an email link had been sent to me to pay. This was not correct information. I received another call with a voicemail. The timing was not good due to it being the holidays and my hosting my husbands birthday celebration. I contacted the Pearl on the 1st normal business day and when I asked for the person who had left the voicemail I was told he wasn’t there but could I hold. I asked for how long. The young lady said she was going to find someone else and I asked to go to voicemail since I had called during a break at my work place. I eventually hung up. I received another call from the gentleman who had left the message and described the experience and the hassle this had caused. He apologized, promised to provide training, and correct the errors. He very generously comped the resort fee and asked that we know they appreciated our returning several times. Outstanding result without asking. The Pearl itself is a beautiful, well maintained, spotless, hotel. So much to do within walking distance that we never even called the valet until we were leaving. Truly a treat and a pleasure to stay here.
