“Nice stay.”

Staff was pleasant. Room was clean. We were in town for a wedding. We did not have time to take advantage of the pool or hot tub but facilities look good.

“A home away from home!”

Could not ask for a better stay...and best of all, the staff was the best we have ever met. Tina on the front desk was always willing to go an extra mile to make our stay comfortable...and Joseph, the breakfast Chef...was also so obliging...and Cheryl on the front desk was always very helpful...when we checked in we had a room that had a dusty odor, she promptly had us moved within minutes....outstanding service. Will always stay here!

“Great motel for older folks and for families.”

We traveled to this motel to visit and be close to our son who is in the Air Force, Tyndall AFB. We were treated as family by the staff and many of the guests. From check-in to check-out, we were treated with freindly attitudes and respect. The hot breakfasts were great! Kim went out of her way to see we were fed well, and asked if all was well with the food. Knowing we were leaving early on the last day, she offered muffins and fruit, already set out, for our travel pleasure. We will definately stay at this motel if we ever get back to the area.

“Great beds\great staff!”

Expedia had botched our reservation arranging "pet friendly" non-refundable rooms. After hours on the phone with Expedia staff, we called the hotel directly. In moments, our itenerary was set even better than it had been initially. The staff was fabulous; the rooms were nice; and the beds were heavenly. These were the best accommodations on our week's visit to Destin.

“Great place, great price!”

My husband and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary and stayed here in June 2007. We wanted some place nice and quiet, away from the beach scene. After enjoying a romantic dinner aboard the Lady Anderson dinner cruise, we were able to enjoy a nice quiet evening at the hotel. Note: plan to get to the breakfast buffet early for the best choices. Make your own belgium waffles-- a definite plus.

My stay at this hotel was extremely pleasant. I send praise for the housekeeping staff and the staff at the front desk. Since I have family who live in Panama City, it's likely I will visit there again. I will definitely stay at the Wingate Inn. Thanks.

“Excellent brand”

I prefer Wyndham to all others in the limited service market. Rooms seem more spacious, and the combination of an easy chair and ottoman is important to me. I also liked the wall- mounted thermostat for the window a/c unit which this property has. Service was especially friendly here as well.

“Very pleased with hotel”

The indoor pool and spa were great. The pillows were feather, not good for allergies.
