Nice hotel, very good bargainPosted Jun 16, 2014
Pros: Quiet, comfortable.
Cons: There was no hot water.
Location: Albrook Mall, largest in Central America, is very nearby. Airport less than 5 minutes away by taxi.
Quiet neighborhood, former U.S. Air Force base, is a remodeled building formerly used for visiting single officers. Nearby airport very close but no airport noise. Bed comfortable.

Nothing like the picturesPosted May 3, 2014
Pros: Alejandra at the front desk was the best. Our navigation app gave us wrong directions. She helped us find places. Restaurant on premises
Cons: Paint the walls, replace missing and broken handles and spray bleach to kill the growing mildew and mold in the bathroom every two weeks.
Location: The Hotel is close to the Albrook Airport, Albrook Mall, Albrook Bus Terminal, the US Embassy, & the Minister of Foreign Affairs
The hotel itself was not like the pictures on the website. Those pictures must have been taken 15 to 20 years ago. The lobby was small & uninviting but the staff friendly. We upgraded to the Junior Suite because the single rooms (which are all on the ground floor) did not seem secure and was not enough space for two people to move around in. The Junior Suite is so humid that every wooden door could not be opened or closed without effort. There is mold on the grout between the tiles in the bathroom shower. There were dead bugs on the ceiling in the bathroom. The curtain at the window in the bathroom did not offer enough privacy from the terrace/restaurant below. We had hot water for showers & there was plenty of liquid soap and shampoo provided. There were several dead bugs on the floor throughout the entire suite. The bed was located directly under the air conditioner . . . a plus for some but not for everyone. The walls in the suite need paint because of soda and food spills and dead bugs. However the bed was comfortable enough, the linens were clean but the blanket on the bed could use a washing, it smelled. The chairs at the dinette are inexpensive, hard & cannot be sat on for long periods of time. The restaurant was clean & staff very friendly. The inclusive breakfast consisted of eggs, cut up hot dogs or grilled chicken pieces, cold deli ham, cheese and bread. Some days hot cereal. Dinner or lunch was typical Panamanian fare. Hamburgers are good & not to dry

Great stopover hotelPosted Apr 14, 2014
Pros: Close to the mall
Cons: Speediness. Of check in. Secure door locks, a safe
Stayed here one night until flying out to bocas del toro. Fly in from London via Panama City. The check in was very slow, and arduous. After 2 flights, totalling 14 hours, and a long taxi ride, we just wanted to put our bags down. Our room was clean, bed was comfortable, only one plug socket out of 4 worked, so we couldn't charge our phones, iPads simultaneously. The mall was very close by, and that was a benefit. The room lock did not feel safe or secure, so we had to carry all our valuables with us to the mall. We were on the ground floor, and early hours the cleaners run a very noisy cart along the paving outside the room window. One thing I was very disappointed with, was that the pictures advertising this hotel, in no ways match what you actually see on arrival. It looked more lie, a budget American motel. For $77, we could have done better.

Dated old hotelPosted Apr 7, 2014
Pros: Not much!
Cons: Almost everything!
Location: Close to the Panama Canal and Albrook Mall. Taxi required to travel anywhere.
Arrived and the pool was dirty. They did clean it up later, Room very small for the price paid. Noise from construction site near the hotel. Not a very pleasant stay!

Nice, clean & quietPosted Jan 27, 2014
Pros: Staff and overall cleanliness.
Cons: A place to get something to drink or eat when you arrive late. Just a snack would be welcomed since the locations isn't real close to anything.
Location: the location is good since the local airport is so close and also close to the mall.
We had an enjoyable experience and have already referred several people to the Inn. Would like to make a couple of simple suggestions. Visitors arriving later in the evening, should have access to get something to drink (at least a bottle of cold water) when they arrive. Having the restaurant open later would be a big bonus but understand that wouldn't be cost worthy.............but there isn't anything close there. Perhaps, an "honor fridge" with water, beer and a few items to eat at a price; with a note pad of what you used. This has worked at other places. Shuttle service to the airports is always a big plus! The staff has always been very kind and helpful and the rooms clean.
