Pros: Our room was sitting out in the water with views forever. Quiet, super comfortable and very safe. The other guests were pleasant company. Delightful!
Cons: It is great the way it is.
Location: A little off the beaten path--about 15 minutes to walk to town. Cab was $2. Smithsonian nearby. Gorgeous beaches. Don't miss the chocolate tour.
The best. Jack, the owner is wonderful. Amazing breakfast. Jack is helpful with everything. Love it.

Beautiful B&B in BocasPosted Nov 23, 2013
Pros: The view from the ocean-facing room was breath-taking and the room had us swooning from the moment we set our bags down.
Location: About a 15 minute walk to Bocas town, Bahia del Sol is a nice escape from the busy (and sometimes rambunctious) night life.
Jack and Lee, the owners of Bahia del Sol, took our one night stay here from breath-taking to all-around wonderful. Be sure to book the ocean-front view if it's available! It's absolutely worth it :)

Location: Ask Jack and Lee. They know everyone and everything that is worth knowing.
If you want to have a very Caribbean experience in Bocas this is the place. Very comfortable, very warm helpful people. Real good breakfasts. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Loved It!Posted Sep 18, 2013
We had such a great time at Bahia Del Sol. My boyfriend and I decided to visit Bocas del Toro as a last minute adventure but found out that almost the entire island was booked because of a local festival. Jerry and his wife did everything to help us get a room, ended up upgrading us to a balcony room when another couple failed to show up and were amazing hosts!!!! they gave us advice on what to do, where to go and were always ready with a smile. We loved our stay. The room was so comfortable and every one is different. It feels like staying at a favorite aunts and uncles cabin but right over the water with amazing sunsets!

Great value for B&BPosted Aug 23, 2013
Pros: We had starfish, crabs and tropical fish right outside our porch! It is very private with a very relaxed feel to it.
Cons: mattress and pillows could be upgraded. Same as fridge and air conditioned. hardly notice if you are out most of the day, like we did
Location: drago/starfish beach (my fav) bus stops like 1 block from hotel, taxi to town less than $2 but you can walk there in less than 15min.
jack and Lee are wonderful hosts, very helpful and kind. The houses, right on the water, are spacious and have everything you need to feel at home during the stay. Delicious and freshly cooked breakfast every morning, different everyday and very balanced. Bocas town is walking distance and Tony's supermarket, a couple blocks away, has pretty much everything. We had only couples as our neighbors, we liked that. quiet and peaceful. Close enough to walk into the town and without the noise of a main street

Good Choice For our Stay in Bocas!Posted Aug 22, 2013 on Hotels.com
The owners, Lee and Jack, were very helpful and took the time to make dinner reservations for us and call a taxi. We were very happy with our stay!

Perfect place to relaxPosted May 30, 2013
Pros: Very quiet with beautiful views.
Cons: Far from beaches
Location: Right on the water where they arrange for water taxi to pick you up and take off to surrounding islands.
This is a quaint rustic B&B with stunning waterfront views. The owners go out of their way to coordinate excursions and dining. The breakfasts are fantastic. Don't book this with fancy in mind. It is very charming and relaxing in the heart of Bocas culture. We loved it.

Interesting B&BPosted Apr 8, 2013 on Hotels.com
All I can say is there is a lot to like about this B&B and some not to like but if you can just get into the laid back vibe (which is why you would go to Bocas Town anyway) then you will be satisfied. We liked going out in the boat with a few other guests for the day to see the dolphins, sloths, snorkeling. lunch at a restaurant in the mangrove trees as well as the beautiful beach at the National Park. We also liked renting bikes the next day to ride up to Playa Bluff.
