“Nothing to complain about.”

The hotel staff were very helpful, they helped us with transport, advice on things to see and do and the best days to do them. The rooms were fine, TV had english channels, a/c worked and the hot water was good. There was a good deli across the road to buy breakfast and get water from as well as Subway and other sandwich style stores close for cheap meals. Albrook shopping mega centre was only 10 minutes away during busy traffic and the taxis were fairly cheap.

“Great price, location, and all-around service !!”

The rooms are huge, very clean and many come with a kitchenette !! There is a casino with a restaurant open until late hours and connected to the Hotel structure. Although, the hotel only offers breakfast, and there is no restaurant or food/beverage room service, there are many restaurants in the same block of the hotel. There are small convenience stores also in the same block where you can buy and stock-up your room's kitchenette w/ basic food beverage. The location is just perfect to get to any point of interest in Panama City very quickly (considering the significant traffic due to huge infrastructure projects), specially the mega-shopping malls, former U.S. military bases, which are now great tourist sites with wonderful historical conservation sites and ongoing redevelopment; and also to the huge causeway, full of stores, duty free, bars, restaurants, and marinas. The hotel transportation is operated by TransTours V.I.P., and the team of drivers is just the best and always available at any hour to get you or pick you up anywhere (life savers!!). Enjoy!!!

“Pretty good, but water in the shower is never hot”

The hotel is very nice, love the room with balcony a the little "kitchen" ( coffee maker, sink, microwave and refrigerator). It's not located in the most popular spot but it's a nice place .. also Panama city is not too big so, even moving form one side of the city to the other ,it's a pretty short distance. What I didn't like, and it's the second time that this happend to me.. water from the shower never gets hot.. it's no cold.but it never gets hot... anyway, Panama is very hot... so it's not a big deal.

“A Great Alternative to Noisy, Expensive Hotels.”

The hotel is located near the "National Metropolitan Park", in the outskirts of the city, and close to Albrook Mall, the largest shopping center in Panamá City. It offers american style breakfast, although with a local twist, pretty good and enjoyable. There is a Casino within the hotel building, as weel as a Casino bar. I has a nice-size swimming pool, located on the 5th Floor. There are several other ammenities right within the property. Most prominent, a local restaurant named "Leños y Carbón", where I had the best meal of my 5-days trip, outstanding food and service. There is also a "Subway" sandwich outlet, a local breakfast/lunch cafeteria, a mailing (UPS Store) center, as well as other businesses. Taxi service is ready and available, as well as tour operators, who depart from the hotel location.

“Spotty wifi”

We had very spotty wifi. It stated there was free wifi in the rooms, but most of the time we could not get it. It was nice, but not as good as the pictures.

“Central Park Panama vacation”

The staff was friendly, with only the front desk/valet personnel speaking so-so English, and my paperwork which took some time to find was in Spanish. Coffee in the room was replentished once during a 10 day stay. There were no washcloths ever. There is no hotel directory at all, nor restaurant menu in the room (for room service), to inform us of the hotel ammenities. When I inquired as to this, I was told that it was in my "welcome letter" which I didn't receive, even after this was told to me. It took us 6 days to locate the pool, which is actually in another building! And we never did find the restaurant. The pictures of this hotel look nice, but we do not agree that this is a 4.5 rated hotel. The breakfast is mediocre at best, with confusion as to who takes your ticket upon arrival. It wasn't uncommon for 3 people to approach you while you were eating to ask for your ticket. They were continually out of breakfast items &/or condiments such as butter, jelly, cereal on a daily basis. The elevators are a little quirky, which made us nervous on occasion. Even though there is a table with informational material, there is no tour operation at the hotel or in the neighborhood to assist you with places to see or activities to do while in Panama. The one thing that was nice was the use of a local cell phone to carry during our stay. We have traveled extensively, and I was very disappointed with this hotel. I would never recommend this hotel or Panama to anyone.
