Will return for a second honeymoon!Posted Aug 2, 2013 on Hotels.com
We loved this hotel! Beds were very comfortable. We highly recommend it as a honeymoon retreat. Employees were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed that they had 3 different restaurants to choose from. They offered many types of food for many different price ranges. Breakfast was excellent too. Location was very central and easy to find. Very nice and clean. Book it!

Never again...Posted Jun 5, 2013
The first step into the hotel we noted that there was no air conditioning in the lobby or the hallways. When we entered our room we were met with the worst, mustiest odor imaginable. The curtains were old and smelled especially bad. The tile floors had goo stuck to it in places and the bathroom had a wad of hair. We booked the room for 3 people, myself, husband, and daughter. When we started to take showers, we had only 2 towels and 2 hand towels.

ok place in David to stay atPosted Feb 11, 2013
Location: Central location
The hotel visit was very pleasant and I would use this hotel again. Overall a nice hotel, but their pricing needs a lot to be desired. Came here last year and it was $95 a night including tax and now it was $95 excluding tax.

Perfect poolside room - large, quiet, comfyPosted Dec 27, 2012
Pros: Poolside room was wonderful
Cons: Lack of maps/information for English-speaking tourists
Location: Right in the heart of David
We stayed in a room in the new section, with a small terrace over-looking the pool. The room and bathroom were large. The room was extremely soundproof, and the bed and linens were top-notch. We enjoyed relaxing or eating out on our pool-side terrace - recommend these rooms as there's just an extra bit of space and freedom to move around. During the week there was no one booked on either side of us, but on Saturday some families moved in on either side - still very quiet, and wouldn't give up the poolside location. The complimentary breakfast buffets were big and varied - wouldn't go hungry here. We ate dinner at the restaurant one night - good for convenience-sake but chose to go out to local restaurants thereafter. The only things to complain about were the fact that we couldn't figure out the in-room safe, the mirror in the bathroom was too high and the counter too wide for make-up application, and the lack of a local map, with recommended restaurants/shops, from the front desk made it a bit tricky especially since we don't speak/understand Spanish.

Terrific hotel!Posted Jul 27, 2012
We requested a king bed after one night in a double, and they moved us instantly! Excellent service model. Price stayed the same. I gave it a 5 for that reason, but my only negative criticism would be that they still use old-style air conditioners, noisy, hard to control. Perhaps they can gradually move to all rooms having split air systems.

Good food,pool, strong drinksPosted Apr 24, 2012
Pros: Quiet rooms, polished friendly staff, at least one f front desk staff spoke English
Location: Easy to find ,see above, casino across the street
Morning brunch (6-10am) consisted of cantaloupe , water melon, pineapple , eggs, sautéed beef, bacon, juice and pancakes. Fabulous coffee! A word of caution, while our room on the poolside was quiet ,Upon roaming the halls around 2am the roadside middle of the hotel I was able to hear the music from the casino across the street. So if you prefer quiet at this hour on the weekend decline a room in this location. The margarita was very strong The pool fabulous Well worth the price

Great place to stay in David!Posted Oct 23, 2011
This is an excellent choice for a hotel to stay in when you're in David. The staff was courteous and helpful and our room was clean and comfortable. There are several choices of restaurants at the hotel. We had dinner at the Italian restaurant and enjoyed our pizza there. I would recommend this hotel as a nice place to stay with good value for the price.

Prepare to Enter The DungeonPosted Aug 25, 2010
This hotel is in a great location, the reception area is nice, grounds well kept...but the rooms ruined the trip for us. Maybe this is just with the standard rooms - but man I felt like I was in my grandmothers basement. The room was very large - but sparsly decorated with old grid ceiling tiles and poor lighting. The beds were rickety and on wheels. The AC worked great and there was a mini-frige, desk area, and safe. Whatever you do, don't stay in standard rooms - or ask to see your room first. It is possible there are nicer rooms in the hotel. Again, the hotels location is great, movies and casino right around the corner, 3 restaurants in the hotel and free Internet. Staff didn't smile much and kind of made me feel like I was intruding on a conversation if I asked for something.
