“Can't wait to go back”
I was travelling alone and felt like home all the time. Breakfast woudl please every traveller from anywhere but the menu of lunch and dinner was not so good. Anyway, beyond doubt, I loved to stay in Holiday Inn CITY OF KNOWLEDGE
“unseen strategic location for travellers”
Through cinta costera you can have rapid access to downtown districts San Francisco and Bella Vista. Very close to Albrook Mall, Abrook Interstate Bus Station with and Albrook Airport with buses to the whole country and Albrook local Airport with flights to dozens of small town in Panama. there is a 24hr taxi station adjacent to the hotel wihich will save hdds
“Nice hotel with a canal view”
Nice hotel and helpful staff! Even if you reserve a room with a canal view, you have to make sure you are on a high enough floor and on the right side, they don't give it to you automatically.
“Hotel room with a view”
Only negative is that there is an additional $20 fee for the 2nd person in the room. Online information states that the basic rate covers 2 people.Warm welcome, gracious staff, delicious food and outstanding view of ships passing through the Panama canal. I was on an unplanned trip for an emergency situation and needed a hotel that could deliver the comforts of home. Well done!
“great for business travel”
Cozy simple clean. 24/7 taxi station adjacent to the hotel which makes it easy and inexpensive and fast to reach the banking district eventhough the hotel is a bit distant from the business district.
“5 stars!”
This condo hotel is part of a local chain of Playa Del Carmen Hotels which allows the condo hotel to give it guests access to beach club, spa, gym, concierge, restaurants. One block from beach club and block from busy Quinta Avenida, perfect location.
“Panama”
The hotel was nice but dated. The staff spoke little and no English so I struggled more than any other property we stayed at during our trip abroad.
“Hard to Find”
The room was fine but we had a very hard time finding the facility. (We were in a rental car) We even hired a cab driver to lead us there & ended up in the wrong place & had to hire another cab driver to find it. Maybe it was just us - it was night & we were tired. When we finally arrived (after 9 pm) we were very hungry but there was no food available, Since there was also no food available close by & we were afraid we would never find the place again if we went any distance we went to bed hungry.
“A welcome stay!”
The room was very nice and the hotel had a restaurant, although breakfast was not included in the rates. The buffet was a bit spendy but it was quick. It was a nice view of the canal and fun to watch the ships moving by. There were no surprises and we were processed into the hotel in just a few minutes.
“Panama Canal within touching distance”
Everyone was quite friendly and as helpful as they could be. Had quite a few pleasant nights at the lobby bar with my friends. The sangria was great! The hotel is just 5 minutes away from the Panama Canal and our room had a view of the Canal. That being said, it's far from the airport and from the City - on a non-traffic day you could be at the airport in 40/45 minutes so that gives you an indication. There is a mall 5 minutes away which is the second largest in Latin America - it's helpful that there's a train (primarily for children but we jumped on) that would take you from one end to the other. The food was generally good wherever we went.
