Well situation but, old hotelPosted Nov 27, 2013
Room so so well situation in the city Close to the old city, walking distance Bad breakfast
DisappointingPosted Jul 28, 2012
Pros: The view and the seafood
Cons: The rooms
Location: Not a good location
The rooms desperately need upgrading. However, the restaurant serves some tasty seafood dishes. The view of the city from the rooftop was also quite nice.

Hotel with good services and locationPosted Jul 5, 2012
Location: Is very good
The services of the hotel, without cost, are very good and very usefull for the travelers, for instance the dairy transport to airport and the malls of the city, the same is the breakfast, that is good and nutritive. The staff is very friendly.

Ok for the pricePosted May 30, 2012
Pros: Good location, good price
Cons: Pillows are very hard and uncomfortable
Location: Convenient and easy to find
Hotel is very clean but feeling a little run down. The bathroom tap was dripping, and there was not hot water in the shower. Pillows and bed could be more comfortable. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

Pros: That we leave???
Cons: The staff
PLEASE DONT GO THERE!!! we stay for one night and the staff was always yelling each others and you feel like they are doing a favor to you for staying in this hotel!! The location is ok and its simple but clean. The breakfast was horrible and again the staff makes everything worst!!!

Hotel Costa Inn, free shuttle, terrible staffPosted Apr 9, 2012
Pros: Free shuttle to and from the airport.
Location: Meh, not terrifying but not amazing.
Staff is absolutely terrible. I left a note with a manager to alert me when my friend had arrived to meet me. When he arrived they told him I wasn't there and to come back the next day. Luckily I came to the lobby before he left. The pool on the roof is tiny and only about 4 feet deep but does provide a cool view of the city. It was neat that the double bed room had two bathrooms, but only one of them had a door. The food is mediocre at best and the wait staff is incredibly slow. That being said, customer service is not exactly the best throughout Panama. The free shuttle is real, but is in no way fast or efficient. Allow plenty of time if you plan on utilizing it. It is worth dealing with though, as taxis to or from the airport are about $20-$25.

Decent ValuePosted Feb 13, 2012
Not bad for a one night stay. Good transport from airport with no problems. Breakfast buffet was fine. We were on the sixth floor facing the main street and experienced a lot of noise. Air conditioning was either on fully or off and neither seemed to be sactisfactory. Given the price it's a pretty good v

Seedy Side of TownPosted Jan 10, 2012
Pros: Air conditioning
Cons: Location and Restaurant
Location: It did not feel safe to walk the streets in the area.
This hotel needs updating and is located in a seedy part of Panama.

Free airport shuttle, reasonable placePosted Dec 5, 2011
Location: The Cangrejo district has a number of reasonable hotels and good restaurants. Safe to walk around at night.
We have stayed at the Hotel Costa Inn 3 times while flying into Panama. They offer a free airport shuttle which saves some $$, although last time the shuttle was upstairs and the hotel representative (and us) were downstairs, and apparently there was no communication (despite both the shuttle driver and the hotel representative being on their cell phones almost constantly). Waited over an hour to leave the airport. Hotel is clean, reasonably comfortable. Wireless internet on each floor (free) and free breakfast (although last time there was very little food on the breakfast buffet - guess they did not expect so many guests to eat breakfast). The first 2 times we stayed here we were given a large room on the front of the building. Last time our room was significantly smaller, but still fine. Not too many restaurants in the neighborhood, but we had a pleasant meal just down the street at a local restaurant. Walking distance to a large Novey hardware store and a large Riba Smith grocery store.

surprisedPosted Nov 3, 2011
Location: For people who travel shopping is very good because the transfers are included at the airport and 3 shopping centers
The day we arrived at the room we saw flukes and during the 4 days we were never put water in the room. No change hotel because we had paid in advance. The pool area was closed, the lights went a whole day. At the hotel you need much maintenance.
