Not Best Western standard(what ever that might be)

Posted Sep 26, 2013
Pros: Nice bed sheets... Actually too nice for the mattress they are covering. The hotel staff are very nice. And the rooms are clean.
Cons: Major renovation is needed. Update the rooms. Quality control
The building looks pretty ran down. Elevators not working, hot water was not working. Bedside lights not working. Air condition was acting wired and was extremely loud. Over all it is ok for a place just to crash. My rate was $50 a night which, so no complaints, as I just needed a place to sleep at night and was not spending in the room. But it is more of a $30 a night motel. It needs major renovation and quality control.

Modest hotel in David, Panama

Posted Jul 23, 2013
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: not much... the rooms are small, but you can't change that too easily...
Location: The area outside the city is great with mountains, rivers and rain forests nearby.
While it is not a great location or fancy, it is clean and the staff is friendly. If you are passing through and want a clean hotel with good service, I would recommend this establishment.

Best Western David, Chiriqui, Panama

Posted Apr 8, 2011
The hotel Gets a poor review for four reasons: 1). There was NO hot water in the shower or sink while we stayed (4 nights) at the Worst Western David, Panama. The last night the water was barley warm. 2). We asked for a phone for three days and only on the last night did we get a phone in the room (because we had an emergency and needed to call the USA). 3). What was advertised as a continental breakfast was terrible. The food served by the restaurant for the evening meals was very under par by Panama standards. 4). The hotel was overpriced based upon my checking several other hotels in David and the surrounding areas, and especially considering the above three items. Having used Expedia for international travel in the past, this hotel was far below the expected level. Expedia should take this hotel off their hotel list.

good value hotel

Very modern hotel in downtown area, convenient for shopping and easy commute. Had some minor glitches at check-in but the staff was very attentive and took care of problems within reasonable time frame. More staff members spoke English which was encouraging. Would stay here again.
