Fantastic ocean viewsPosted Mar 20, 2014 on Hotels.com
This is a nice hotel with fantastic ocean views. Stay in a club level room. Be sure to have an ocean view and try for a corner room. The staff are all very friendly and helpful.

Excellent Location in Panama with a Fantastic ViewPosted Mar 11, 2014
Pros: Friendly Staff.
Cons: Need to make Wi-Fi available without extra charge throughout the hotel. The hotel also needs a small convenience shop,
Location: A restaurant named "La Poza" is about 3 blocks from the hotel and serves excellent food. Gamboa Tours is an excellent tour outfit.
Our room was comfortable with most every convenience. The view from our room was incredible as we looked out to Panama City's bay. In the distance you could see east bound ships waiting to enter the canal. The staff of the hotel were very competent and professional in our dealings with them. They were also very friendly and would go out of their was to do the little things that make a hotel seem inviting. The location of the hotel is about as well as you can do in the city. It is relatively close for shopping and within short walking distance (2 or 3 blocks) of several excellent restaurants. Services such as a pharmacy or a grocery store are also within short walking distance.

A room with a million dollar viewPosted Feb 26, 2014
Pros: The view, the comfort of the room with coffee maker and mini bar, the excellent service from the staff and the Executive Floor privileges.
Cons: Guest room walls not well insulated, you can hear the neighbors and occasionally traffic from below. A list of nearby restaurants would be helpful.
Location: Great view of Bay, you see ships lined up to either enter or leave the Canal. Casco Viejo is a 45 minute walk. Taxis are everywhere and reasonable.
After a flight delay of 8 hours, we arrived at the InterContinental Miramar at 1am. We received a room upgrade which we appreciated and thoroughly enjoyed. The spacious hotel restaurant has a wonderful menu and buffet. As for location, can't get much better. The area is safe, so walk Balboa Avenue for the experience and appreciation of the city. We were hoping to find small neighborhood restaurants we could walk to, didn't have much success so we relied on taxis.

Hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They helped us in great length to get our luggage from airport. Room was really big and very comfortable. Hotel is located in upscale neighbourhood. Only short drive to Old Town and Panama Canal. Overall, we had a great experience!

Great dealPosted Nov 10, 2013 on Hotels.com
Hotel is beautiful and rooms have amazing view...the furniture is somewhat outdated and the carpet in the hallway was musty smelling...breakfast buffett was expensive considering the type of food they had available...overall at the price we got them it was a steal...however at regular prices i would prefer to stay at the Trump hotel.
