As we are interested in the culture and living environment of life in general, in Panama, we selected this B&B to get a feel for a REAL neighborhood & a REAL home. After our 2nd night, we are very happy we are staying here. Owners Jesus & Maria and their helpers, Mauro & Carolina speak great English, are kind & gracious & go out of their way to answer questions (just ask) & take care of your needs. Jesus took us to the mall & helped us buy & activate, a prepaid cell phone. The property itself is older & just 1 block off busy Tumba Muerto, in the El Dorado area. We arrived hungry & tired, & were assured it was safe & less hassle to walk 4-5 blocks to restaurants near by. It was! The B&B is an older but an honest view of older properties in the city. If you want honesty & reality & a chance to get to know residents of the city, personal care & concern then stay here! It was perfect for us & we feel even after only two disjointed nights stay, that we have friends in Panama.

great breakfast, rediculously comfy. great staff, they helped me organise hiring a taxi by the hour so i could sum up panama's main sites in one day, as all i was there while connecting flights for 24 hours. even helped beyond the hours of their duty by phoning taxi driver back on his mobile, translating from him to me and back again that i wanted to go to airport when done site seeing.

Hotel was very clean and a perfect stay the night before we flew out. The staff was friendly and very helpful with a variety of arrangements! One of our bags was left in a taxi and the staff helped us get it back for several hours! Highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a place with excellent customer service!

I stayed in this hotel from april 13 to 20, i liked this b&b very much: clean and comfortable rooms, it´s located in a residential zone, so is very safe and quiet even to walk in nights. The staff (Jesus and his wife, and Mauro) are very warm and gentle, they will help you about any information you need about the city, atractions, tours, taxi and bus fares. It´s very close to a supermarket, and many options to eat, from fast food to local and foreign kitchen. Bus and taxi stops are 2 blocks near. Also, it´s close to albrook mall, panama canal, colon railroad and amador causeway. I recomend this hotel so much, thanks guys for making our stay in Panamá City un unforgettable experience, best regards!

hard to find.It is a one story house in the residential zone. water pressure is too low.

Very good location.It is close to shopping areas and restaurants.I would highly recommend this b&b.

I was very disappointed because of the false advertising of this place. It said the beds had memory foam mattresses so I booked because I really needed a good night's sleep before the next very long day of traveling to go home. The mattresses were flimsy spring mattresses and I had a terrible night's sleep. There was no top sheet; only a bottom sheet and a very thin bedspread. The air conditioner was very loud and not very effective. The ad in hotels.com stated that there was a manager's reception daily. I was expecting a drink and maybe a snack. The owners informed me that all it meant is that they had a manned desk. The ad stated that the room I was renting (Pear) had windows that opened and had a view of the garden. They did not open and the only view from windows was a barbed wire at the top of the fence and the very tops of 2 tall buildings. The ad claimed there were black out drapes on the windows. Not only were there not black-out drapes, there were no curtains or drapes at all. When I complained to the owners/managers, I was told that they had no control over what Expedia/Hotels.com put in the ads; they insisted that they had provided accurate information.

I was looking for a hotel that was closer to the airport. I had an overnight stay and thought this was fairly close, but given it's residential location you have to take some back roads --- at least my taxi driver did. It was clean and comfortable. FYI the taxi ride is $25 from the airport.

The owners/hosts were extremely helpful with sightseeing ideas and arrangements. They were available at any hour to call a taxi, etc.

The real benefit of this hotel (more like a bed and breakfast) is the owner Alejandro. He treats you like you are a guest in his home, not a customer. He worries about you when you are late getting in. He even ran to the store and got us a bottle of wine and would not take anything for his efforts. We just reimbursed him the cost of the wine. He also helped us with the car rental company when we needed a different car delivered. The personal service is what makes the difference, especially when we did not speak Spanish. The room was clean and comfortable.
