Total not what it says about this hotel.Posted Dec 17, 2013
There is NO room service, not enough towels. The bed was very very uncomfortable and hard, sliding patio door did not lock there was over twenty and I mean over twenty arm guards with assault rivals all over the facility, out on the road in the hotel all over the. Staff was not friendly at all they did not care about the complaints. Have to walk about half of a mile to get to the restaurant into an other hotel area on the complex. It was a buffet that we had to wait 30 minutes for it to open at 7:00 PM and when it did the food was cold and it was horrible. It was all-inclusive but there was a lot of things that had to be paid for out of our pockets when we've already paid the all-inclusive price. I would not recommend this place to anybody that I know or I didn't know. Would not go back. Felt very uncomfortable and unsafe. Makes me appreciate America a lot more.

Lots of crowds, lots of lines, lots of loud music; kind of like being on a Carribbean cruise ship. But staff and guests were all friendly and enjoyable.

How DisappointingPosted Oct 4, 2013
Pros: That you did not have to "dress-up" to go to the a la carte restaurants, as you do for most resorts.
Cons: EVERYTHING, customer service training, Housekeeping, Calling animal control so that guest feel safe on the beach.
Location: Nothing to do nearby. NOTHING. 2.5 hour drive/ride from the airport.
The Beach - Wild dogs, Murky Black water and sand, Littered by debris, treelimbs and Dragonflies. Worst beach I have ever been on. Maybe a lot of that is out of the control of the resort, but it was a terrible experience. The Room - Filthy, the toilet leaked every time you flushed, there was black mold in the shower and around the sink. There was long hair all over the floor as if it hadn't been cleaned from the previous guest. Granted there was only two of us, but there were only 2 bath towels and 1 hand towel in the room, so unless you requested more towels, you are forced to use the same bath towel after your morning shower, after your afternoon shower when coming back from the pool, and after your evening shower. Disgusting!! The Food - SO, SO, I guess much cant be expected, but I was besides myself when I saw a women putting food from her plate back into the buffet after she was finished eating from the plate. I guess the staff cant supervise everything but my God! The Staff - RUDE!!! We were promised a late check-out upon arrival, but after 12 on the day of departure we were told we were finish, and basically kicked off the resort property, which resulted in us arriving at the airport @ 2pm only to have to sit around until our 6:40pm flight.

On the Beach in the SunshinePosted Oct 1, 2013
We took a 10 trip to Panama. Loved it. Playa Blanca was wonderful. The staff were very helpful and interesting to talk to. A few spoke English. The grounds are well maintained with flowers everywhere. The wild Parrots and Macaw's were a welcome sight for young and old alike. The food was very good. The Sushi was a wonderful treat. The beach restaurant was welcoming and served a very good menu of wonderful food. The Buffet was always full of wonderful tasty dishes. A variety of fruit was readily available. Service was always good. The room was spacious and clean. Can not wait to return,.

Good hotel but still deficient in services.Posted Jul 8, 2013
Pros: Spacious Rooms
Cons: Room service, better service infrastructure close to the Suites
Location: Not applicable
There are not drinks and food close to the Suites, the All Inclusive is only in the hotel side. Very limited open times for the services included.

Really nice resortPosted Aug 28, 2012
Pros: The grounds were well manicured and very well kept. Nearly everything was well kept but it is quite a distance to any outside places
Cons: The Wifi internet was slow and not available in the rooms just the front desk area
Location: The resort is about a 2 hour drive from Panama City but well worth the trip
The hotel rooms and facilities were 1st class. There is ample staff and the grounds are quite expansive. Everything one could want from 2 large pools, beachfront tikis, large dining hall, 2 other restaurants, nightclub are all onsite at this facility. There is a nightly stage show for kids that is enjoyable for adults also and there are activities at the pool during the day. All the food and drinks including alcholic beverages are included. There is a slight upcharge at one of the restaurants for extras but it's very minimal. All in all had a good time and would highly recommend. Also, the A/C was very cold and this can be important in tropical and sub-tropical environments. The only complaint was there was no internet in the rooms and in the front desk area the pay for use internet accesible through Wifi was quite slow.

Agood value for all inclusive stayPosted Jul 23, 2012 on Hotels.com
Over-all very satisfied witht he quality of food and service. Comment for improvements: 1) The jacuzzi were not heated so it is very difficult to stay in a cold jacuzzi 2) Most of the staff only speaks Spanish, most of the time it is very difficult to communicate my needs 3) Should avoid doing construction when certain units are occupied, above our room, there was some type of construction going on and very difficult to take some naps 5) WIFI should be free, I am quite surprised that we have topay for the WIFI
