Nice hotel, but it is far away from the main city

Posted Nov 5, 2014
Pros: The room was very comfortable, very good food (kind of expensive), the people were very friendly
Cons: Cleaniness of the room, a particular recepcionist was rude, although this is not a reason for not being at the hotel, everyone else was very nice!
Location: Its far from the main city, if you golf its the best place, because it has a golf court on the same facilities, depends on what you like
We encountered really nice people, when we were told people in Panama were very rude, we didn´t see that, thank God. The cleaniness of the room was not the best that you would expect, when you are in a 4 rated star hotel.

Beautiful scenery but NO WATER for almost two days

Posted Oct 30, 2014
Pros: Lovely scenery. Two swimming pools. Golf course. Very comfortable bed and clean well equipped room. Restaurants on site. Food was good.
Cons: HAVE RUNNING WATER,
Location: Basically it's away from city ($30.00 taxi ride) but nice area to go for walks, golf or swim.
We booked in around 1 pm and had running water for about two hours. - then the water was off for the next two days except for a couple of hours at noon and another two hours at 11pm the second night. We were only booked in for two days so do not know how long the problem lasted after we left. The staff gave us bottled water and the restaurant was able to provide meals despite the lack of water. We are a retired couple with no children, so it was an inconvenience, but if you had children to bathe, flush toilets etc it would be a huge problem - bottled water only goes so far. The hotel compensated us by giving us a free supper or a free shuttle ride to the airport (either or). The staff were very nice but couldn't explain why the water was off and gave different times as to when the problem would be fixed - all incorrect. The golf course looked to be in nice condition but it was raining so we didn't get to golf. $90.00 per person. T

We apologize for the lack of water during your stay. We appreciate you taking the time share your experience. It is unfortunate when situations like this arise. We take every precaution to make sure that all guests are affected as little as possible.

Has to improve

Posted Sep 22, 2014
Pros: Quiet and nice view.
Cons: Food options and those flies.
Location: Cant say anything about it since it was raining from my arrival until the night and i had a flight to catch next early morning.
1.- The driver made a wrong turn from the airport to the hotel so missed some time, no biggie 2.- Check in was fast but i reserved a room with king size bed with pool view and instead i got a 2 bed room with forest view, no biggie cuz it was raining all day and forest was better than pool. 3.- When i got in the room i thought i was in the wrong room because it was dirty and bed unmade, called lobby and gave me some extra courtesy cocktail tickets, more if i wanted them due to the room issue, basically i had free drinks during my stay. 4.- The menu needs more options. There were flies roaming which i thought was very bad for a hotel of this category and no one seemed to care they were all over my table.

Awesome Hotel

I really love the architecture design. It's very modern and clean. It's about 30 minutes away from the Albroom mall and 40 minutes away to the airport. Recommended, I'll go back again

Nice hotel, quiet area

Posted Aug 28, 2014
Cons: Staff needs to be bilingual and wi-fi didn't work inside the stateroom.
Location: Miraflores locks are 10 minutes away when driving and Albrook Mall is close as well. Easy access to Cinta Costera.
Hotel area is very quiet and clean. Near the nature and golf course looks nice, parking was free and the breakfast included was a plus. Staff were very prompt to respond to our needs. Not all staff are bilingual, however they were doing as much as possible to understand and communicate with us. Water was not brought to the room every night as explained in the room paperwork. Bathroom has a lot of space and the room as well. TV channels were clear and always available, wi-fi didn't work inside outer stateroom, and coffee was offered for free every day.

Excellent hotel, great service and very quiet.

Pros: Service, golf court, Kid's club, general quiet, nice gym.
Location: You can go to Miraflores Exclusas, jogging, mariposario.
We expend 21 days and I can definitely recommend it, very service staff, clean room, nice place to our boys. It is a place to get rest, walking, fresh air. Pretty good golf court ¡¡¡ Just 15 minutes to Balboa etc.

Great Hotel with nice amenities- great for family

Posted Aug 5, 2014 on Hotels.com
Stayed here five nights during the "rainy" season. Wonderful experience. Rooms are very clean. Bathrooms modern and roomy. Beds are extremely comfortable. Ask for a room overlooking the jungle...you can then have a coffee (machine provided free of charge!) each am on your private balcony and watch the sun come up over the jungle. Pool is beautiful, large and very clean. Work out facility is small but sufficient. Golf course is quite good. Staff are friendly and helpful. Free shuttle to the MIraflores canal (a must see!) and the large mall is a real plus. Only negatives are that there are not a lot of staff that speak English, but this is apparently a problem at many hotels in Panama. And if you speak even a few words of high school Spanish, you can easily get by. Also, location, while beautiful, is off the beaten path, so you are looking at a healthy taxi ride (20-30 mins) to get to the city or longer (90 mins) to get to the beach. Food at hotel is also good, including the sushi. Breakfast buffet was excellent (lots of local fare plus traditional favorites) and changed each day (not something you see at many places). We had a very relaxing time here and would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family. Hotel manager, Adrienne, van driver, Victor and bellhop, Carlos, were especially helpful to us during our stay...really made us feel welcome!

Beautiful Location

Posted Jul 17, 2014 on Hotels.com
We stayed at the Radisson for a total of 4 nights. The room had a beautiful view of the golf course, rain forest and Centennial Bridge. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The staff was very accommodating. The breakfast buffet was delicious! We appreciated how one staff member helped our son who is on crutches get his breakfast when we were not there to assist. I can't say enough about this hotel and would highly recommend it.
