All employees are very helpful in every way gave us ocean view , gave us king sized bed with no extra cost and food are very good. We can recommend to anybody as a mater of fact we are planning already for our next holidays!!!!!

Poor Value for money
I have experienced many all inclusive resorts in my travels. This was a last minute booking because of the proximity to the Rio Hato airport. The Hotel caters to all inclusive travel operators. It is a very sprawling resort with many pools and restaurants and bars. The room was very dated and furniture from the 80's. Staff were not all that helpful and I would not stay here again.

Excellent response time to call for transportation. Facility is on side of a hill, and if you need to go get your car at the central parking lot, you really need the transportation! Food and bar drinks were very good. Only thing we disliked was the thermostats in the rooms are "locked" and we could not adjust the temperature.

This is a nice hotel. My only drawback on this hotel was that we were on the 3rd floor and had no elevator. We had to hall our luggage up and down 3 flights of narrow stairs. Unfortunately, our stay was very short and we didn't get the chance to see or do all that the hotel offered. From what we did see and experience, it was great.

We enjoyed the music and the dancing at the discotheque a lot. The cocktails could’ve been better made- cheap liquor and mixes. The one issue that was extremely annoying was with the air conditioning in the room. There was a brief power cut around 1:30 am and when we returned from the disco, we tried to re-set the ac but it just never worked and we got no sleep the entire night because of the heat. We called maintenance early in the morning and they said we would need to wait til’ 8 am for the maintenance person. The food was okay (nothing special, not much variety). It needs improvement. The facilities, food, drinks don’t really match up to the price paid per nights.

Staff was not pleasing at all (with the exception of like 3 people) and always had a unpleasant face on. Hotel is not truly all inclusive unless you pay for the “royal plus” package. Dinner reservations always seemed to be full. The staff trying to get you to go to the presentations were annoying as heck we’re on vacay, trying fo relax not be bombarded. Staff was not catering at all, took forever to get an order in or even get a glass of water. Pool seemed to always be filled with sand. Ocean view room was completely blocked my palm trees, total rip off. Only positive thing is the beds & pillows were comfortable and they had hot hot water. Would definitely not return nor recommend hotel at all!

This is a famoly oriented hotel, the staff are very friendly, the food is tasty and there is an ample selection of coctails. It has many pools by the beach each with its own bar and towel station which makes it convenient. Choose Oceanside if you can since most amenities are on the coastline

When we got there the person in the front desk ignored us, he was on the phone, after more than 5 minutes just standing there with my family he decided to greed us and check us in, overall the staff was rude and they need much training on how to treat the guests. I really would not go there again and would not recommend it.

None of the restaurants have AC in a very hot environment. You will be sweating while eating your food. Loud music from 11pm to 2 am each night. Food is not that great. But, the people are wonderful and helpful.

The overall experience of our two night stay was very good. All the staff and the evening entertainment teams, pools, beach & cleanliness were excellent. Our room location and surroundings were very nice. The only thing we found lacking was the bedroom was dated and the balcony patio door did not have a lock. However, our overall enjoyment of our experience was very good!

My family and friends recently stayed at Royal Decameron from December 30th - January 1st, 2023. We definitely enjoyed our stay. The plus - The property grounds were beautiful, the beach was glorious, and the overall service was good. Food selection and taste were adequate, but nothing to write home about. I loved the evening shows for kids, a little short, but good. The dance performance by the Royal Decameron dancers was great, it was very entertaining. The number of pools and lagoons I found appropriate for the resort. Plenty of lounge chairs, if you cared to reserve early by placing an article of clothing or towel on it. The minus - lack of organization regarding water sport equipment rental. Tough reservations were made one we still experience 25 to 30 minutes wait times due to oversold appointment slots or equipment maintenance. The furniture in the rooms is serviceable, but clearly outdated. Additional bed lines (blankets) cost extra, which I've never heard about. Lastly, we did not like that premium alcohol was limited to does with certain packages, without the opportunity for another guess with a lesser package to pay for it. I only drink certain kinds of top-shelf liquor and I hated being limited to unknown brands. Overall, I will still recommend this facility, but know that this is not a 4 star resort, but still a safe and fun place for families and couples to vacation.
