Peaceful, beautiful hotel in the mountains.

Posted Jul 7, 2014
Pros: Everything was so easy and comfortable.
Cons: Nothing
Location: We just wanted to get away and relax. We did nothing and loved it. We brought out side by side and went 4 wheeling along the trails. it was great.
Extreme comfort with a country setting and beauty. Spotless but well appointed so it looked cozy and comfortable. Felt just like visiting a friend. We had perfect weather and the staff was very attentive without being obtrusive. Would recommend highly.

Ideal Place to Experience Boquete

Posted Apr 10, 2014 on Hotels.com
Great location just outside Boquete center. Easy to get around. Host scheduled a couple of tours with hotel pick-up. The Riverside is a boutique hotel consisting of 6 rooms with common areas. Very well kept place both inside and out. The Rock restaurant is next store for included breakfast. Excellent food and service. Plan to return and stay longer.

Beautiful boutique hotel

Posted Mar 24, 2014 on Hotels.com
The hotel was beautiful. It's a very small place - 6 or 7 suites. The staff is nice even when they don't speak much English. The atmosphere of the place is not so much of a hotel as a large private house. There are 2 communal spaces - a sunken living room and a spacious bar (honor system) and lounge area. Breakfast was served in the restaurant next door. The continental breakfast included in the price of the room had a fruit platter, 3 types of cheeses ( a slice per person) and bread. If you asked for cappuccino - they will give it to you at no extra charge. We had a rented car and drove to places around including the town, otherwise it is a little distance to get to town.

Great Boquete Boutique Hotel and restaurant

Posted Mar 20, 2014 on Hotels.com
Wonderful! The Rock restaurant (they own it) next door is FABULOUS! One of the best meals I have ever had for dinner. Continental breakfast was included w/room and little did we know how much food you get. We ordered additional items and then struggled to eat them as we had sooo much food with the continental breakfast. Even so, it only came to $12 for two of us having a full breakfast each! This place is just awesome. Well located but out of the fray of the town. Would definitely go back.

A Lovely Inn

Posted Mar 11, 2014
This little Inn is a quaint, casual, and very comfortable place where we quickly felt at home. It has the charm and intimacy of a B&B, but the privacy and professionalism of a hotel. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, and the beds quite comfortable. Phillip is so kind and helpful. He organized all our tours and transportation, and was quick to assist with anything, but not pushy. The Inn environment worked well for our family which includes 3 children under the age of 9. They enjoyed running around outside and playing! A great experience, we plan to return!

The manager Philip was very welcoming and helpful. You feel at home as soon as you arrive. Big room, clean and spacious. It is luxury in a small place.

An excellent inn with exceptional service

Posted Feb 25, 2014 on Hotels.com
The Riverside Inn is a very nicely decorated, elegant little place. With just 6 guestrooms it can be very, very quiet. The rooms are very clean and appealing. While the inn is a bit out of the way (a cab ride is required to get into town), the service really sets it apart from the rest. The manager, Philipp, went above and beyond for our family, not only arranging for transport for us from Bocas del Toro to Boquette and from the Inn to David airport, he followed up with us every step of the way to make sure that we were taken care of. I cannot say enough about Philipp.

Awesome boutique in Boquete

Posted Feb 5, 2014 on Hotels.com
Someone had vision and great taste ;every detail from the fireplace room to the honor bar area were awesome. Huge bathroom with robes, lovely toiletry products, double sinks and comfortable beds. Next door is their partner restaurant (good, but not up to the standards of Riverside Inn. Manager Philip was EXTREMELY helpful, professional, eager and made our stay even better.

Would stay again

This is a great place! It is a small hotel (6 rooms) but very comfortable without being overbearing. The quality of service was exceptional. The bar is on an honor system (help yourself) and in general it is like a B&B, without the inevitable overinvolvement of the family. Room and bathroom were very comfortable.and well equipped. Staff went to great lenths to make our stay enjoyable. Location is a bit out of town, but it has one of the town's best restaurants right next door (same owners and also the breakfast location). Could not have wished for more!
