Nice, clean, safe and well maintained hotel

Posted Apr 8, 2014
Pros: Clean and location
This property may not have a lot of the frills of the larger chain hotels, but it is operated with pride and attention to detail. Beds were incredibly comfortable and rooms ultra clean. Safes were in each room if a guest needed to lock passports, etc. It is in a good location, walking distance to the new subway metro station (Carmen Iglesia subway stop). Good coffee always available in the lobby and a nice breakfast. I walked to the waterfront from the hotel (15 minutes) and then along the waterfront. It was very pleasant.

Quiet, clean and friendly hotel

Posted Apr 7, 2014
Pros: The clean and quiet location.
Cons: Do not use as much deodorizer.
Location: We had a great meal at La Posta and highly recommend it for food quality and atmosphere. The Wine Bar was also cute and good food.
We stayed 3 nights at Toscana Inn Hotel. It was very quiet and located on a side street. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout the stay and assisted us in making reservations at restaurants and calling taxis. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was very good also. The only problem we had was that my husband experienced allergies on the second night which may have been caused by some kind of cleaning product or something in the air conditioning system. It did not effect our stay much and we would definitely return if we are in Panama City again.

Pros: Good location for business activities. Well trained staff. Quality rooms, Good restaurant. Free parking under hotel. Good room rates.
Cons: Nothing. Keep doing what they already are doing.
Location: Many excellent restaurants near by. Many theaters near by also.
My wife and I enjoyed our stay very much. The staff was very attentive from the front desk attendant to the outside attendants who greeted us. After a comfortable night, we were pleased to enjoy a wonderful breakfast. Again the staff was attentive to our needs. .

Very nice hotel

Posted Mar 20, 2014
Pros: Everything was very pleasant and convenient.
Cons: I thought the hotel was a bit expensive.
Location: Nothing much to see in the vicinity. Taking a taxi to the famous sights is easy, but find out the price in advance and be ready to bargain.
Great hotel. Stayed here for 6 nights in a triple room. Everything was in excellent condition, clean, functional, well lit, and aesthetically pleasing. Buffet breakfast was decent. Location felt safe and close to restaurants. The hotel lacked the ambience of, say, a small B&B in a more historic neighborhood, but made up for it in convenience. Overall, an excellent place. A little pricey, perhaps, but you get what you pay for. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Stay here!

Posted Mar 19, 2014
Pros: I liked being able to walk to buy groceries, wine, and shop for sourveniers.
Cons: For some reason, we only got one face cloth. Needed two.
Location: Great location in business district near at least one caasino. Also could walk to see old church, Our Lady of Carmen
A nice hotel for economy and comfort. Business-like front desk personnel can answer all your questions. All lobby personnel speak English. Everyone is friendly and courteous from housekeeping to door men. The upper floor rooms have a nice view of the city. Wifi works fine. Beds are comfortable. Plenty of hot water in shower. Nice towels. Quiet and fast elevators. Nice garden area off the 6th floor. Complimentary breakfast has a wide selection of hot and cold foods. Two computers on first floor to use. Hotel is within walking distance of many good restaurants, souvenier shops, grocery stores, etc.

This was our first visit to Panama City and needed lots of suggestions and directions. The staff helped generously.
