Loved the hotel. We stayed one night in another hotel and it was BAD.. headed straight to the Waldorf and thank goodness! So much better. Clean, beautifully appointed, wonderful staff and service, lovely pool and hot tub. Perfect visit. Definitely recommend!! The only place to stay in PC!

Staff was very nice however expected hotel to be more updated considering name. If you're looking for updated rooms and hotel I recommend Hilton Panama as 1st choice which is a 5 minute walk. Overall not a bad hotel.

From the moment we arrived at the Waldorf Astoria Panama, we were treated to an experience that went beyond our highest expectations. The hotel itself boasts impeccable facilities, blending luxury with the warmth of Panamanian hospitality, but what truly set our stay apart was the outstanding concierge service provided by Lille Marie. Lille Marie was a treasure trove of local knowledge, guiding us through Panama’s vast array of attractions with recommendations that felt tailor-made for our interests. Whether it was a historical site off the beaten path or a bustling local eatery serving up delicious Panamanian cuisine, Lille Marie’s suggestions enriched our trip, making it a truly authentic experience. Her attention to detail, from booking our tours to ensuring we knew the best times to visit certain spots, was second to none. It was evident that she not only loves her city but also takes great joy in sharing it with visitors, making every effort to accommodate our preferences and answer any questions we had. The Waldorf Astoria Panama, with its luxurious amenities and prime location, was a delight. We cannot thank her enough for her invaluable assistance and the memorable experiences she helped create along with the rest of the staff. Fav: Free breakfast Buffett spread for entire stay(diamond member) and the champagne happy hour. Opportunity: Pool was cool even though sun was beaming and hot tub never was hot.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Waldorf. I have always wanted to stay at a Waldorf and finally got a chance while traveling with a friend to Panama. It’s centrally located within walking distance to various restaurants so you will have a variety of options. My room was spacious and had an amazing city skyline view. The food at Peacock Alley was delicious and the decor was lively. I enjoyed lounging by the pool on the hot days and sipping on a cocktail. The staff is wonderful at this location and they helped to make our stay lovely. Special thanks to Lille, Alejandro, Isabella and front desk team for being so helpful and hospitable. And we loved the Valentine’s Day cookies, they were very tasty! I would recommend staying here as it’s a beautiful hotel in the heart of the action, but enough distance to have quiet time to relax.

Our stay was great. This property is conveniently located to multiple places. We had a rental car (unfortunately they do charge for daily parking --valet) however every place we went to was 7-12 minutes away which was very convenient. Additionally the facility was clean and staff very welcoming. Will be returning!

No service at the pool. In 5 days I got a total of 3 drinks, only after I went and got my own the first time and later talked to the front desk about the non-existent service. I set up my own pool chair in the morning and there were no towels, etc. They also charged $22USD for a canned wine in the mini bar. In my room, there was a bbq sauce stain on the chair (I hope it’s bbq sauce at least) among other questionable issues. The service fee to bring the food to the room is nearly as much as the food itself. There are some nice staff at the check in and helping with bags, and the rooms are big. But outside of the listed amenities, the actual service itself is 2-3 star. Stay at a boutique hotel instead, there is no luxury here.

Nice common facilities. The rooms are large but lack certain basic features. Only one chair which was an office chair. Not confortable. No table.
