If buildings could speak, this one would be screaming “Run Away” This hotel looks like a building from Chernobyl; and not like a 4 Star hotel. Very little in the room beside a bed, and a bathroom. A/C not working, room very hot and unbearable. Rude and unprofessional reception staff not willing to resolve issues. Don't be fooled by the relative cheapness and proximity to Paphos, this so called 'hotel' is in fact some sort of large scale psychological experiment about human suffering and gullibility," The sheets on the bed looked like they had enjoyed a long career in a particularly messy and degrading part of the adult film industry. If there is an opposite to memory foam (amnesia foam?) that is what the bed was made of. Summary: Noisy, Unclean, Unsafe, Poor Maintenance, Unhelpful Staff, tourist trap. Do your research before booking.

Only stayed one night here due to a late flight in to Cyprus, but wouldn’t hesitate to come back. Very good breakfast selection too and big comfortable rooms.

Upon arriving at the hotel i had a earlier check-in, but wasn't able to get a free room upgrade as I'm a VIP Gold member on here ! Apparently the hotel didn't sign up for membership rewards, so you get what you pay for. The superior double room, was on the ground floor with a view of the swimming pools and people sitting outside on loungers and deck chairs. The TV in the room had two English channels and the mini fridge was small, but there was a bath and shower and plenty of cupboard space. Also i had a full buffet breakfast with my booking, which was lovely overlooking the beach and Paphos Coast. I wouldn't recommend this hotel if you are on a budget and it's wasn't good value for money !

I booked a superior room with a balcony and received a ground floor room with a garden (which was a mess and full of cigarette ends) The bath had a hole in it which had been badly patched up and the sink has a crack. I’ve stayed here a few times over the years however this will definitely be my last. Good points, breakfast decent and the hotel is positioned in a great spot.

Clean accommodation. Great buffet food . Great location and facilities good. Indoor swimming pool bit cold and sauna only in changing rooms. A great stay but a great shame that the advertised free transfer was denied

Our 3rd stay at the Amphora, and we’ll be back in 2024. Great location, clean rooms, friendly staff and good breakfast. Great area for sunbathing, swimming and walking along the seafront.

This is a very good location. We had a suite which also was very good. Breakfast good too. Evening restaurant very bland & uninviting. The property is needing a repaint as lots of flaky peelings appear daily on balcony. Very well maintained & spacious garden with many sunloungers/umbrellas throughout the garden. We would go back

The pool and breakfast were great. The room was fine, but some small things could be improved - e.g. the shower didn't drain well and required a carefully placed bathmat to stop water leaving the bathroom. The wifi is totally open and perhaps because of this is very slow/inconsistent. Finally, they do not receive or respond to messages sent using Hotels.com direct messaging so I did not have a free airport transfer from the airport as they didn't get my multiple messages. Apparently, their inability to receive these direct messages was my problem.

Hotel very good and modern. Decent breakfast and the fact that the transfer to and from the airport was free was much appreciated. Loved the space that the grounds provided compared to lots of the other hotels along the front

Pleasant, affordable hotel; Not much beach
Very nice hotel on the "beach." There really isn't much in the way of sandy beach here, for that stay at the east end of Cyprus. But this hotel is very nice (and among the lowest priced) with a large lawn for lounging close to the Mediterranean. There is a nice walkway along the water that will lead you to the city for a bite to eat or shopping. Ample parking and close to local Roman ruins. Front desk was reasonably helpful but not as cheerful as we had experienced elsewhere. Excellent breakfast included.

It’s great place to stay . 10-15 minutes walk to city centre but it’s all board walk which is great. Excellent breakfast and service was great. Loved everything about this hotel. Free bus shuttle to the airport which was bonus.

Lovely hotel right on the beach
Really great trip. The hotel is in a great location, right on the beach. There are lots of chairs and umbrellas to use to shade from the sun. Quick 20 minute walk along the boardwalk to get to the Harbour. The airport transfer bus was really useful as well, though we couldn't use it on the way to the hotel. I requested it but never heard from the hotel to confirm. Apart from that, it was a lovely stay and I would stay here again.

Had a really nice week’s stay at Amphora. It is a bright, modern and stylish hotel and setting. Loved the sea view out of the wide windows and balcony. You get to watch some beautiful sunsets. The hotel is set right on the coast with loungers and lawns leading down to the promenade and branch access. Loads of comfy loungers and umbrellas here and poolside. A 20 minute walk along the coast path takes you to the heart of Paphos harbour and all the entertainment there. A further 15 mins beyond that and you are at the Kings Ave Shopping Mall. Loved the range and quality of the breakfast at the hotel. Only slight niggle is the amount of food waste that must happen and the overloading of plates by guests. Overall of fab experience, lovely hotel and we’d definitely go back.

It was next to the sea . The area is lovely . However the hotel is average . Cleaning was every other day . Shuttle from airport does not exist and they make pay the transportation to larnaca airport dispite saying shuttle free

We only stayed one night. I thought it was poor value . The bathroom floor around the toilet didn’t look clean. The settee in the lounge looked very shabby. We were unable to open a window for ventilation overnight, the bedroom patio door was screwed down. The window in the lounge opened onto the stairwell / outside of building and was easily accessible should someone wish to enter. I found the bed too firm for my liking. The breakfast was good and the dining room was clean. The staff in the dining room were friendly, reception staff were helpful. The location is good, right next to the sea and the path down to Paphos harbor

Great breakfast, but no cypriot coffee. The beds are very uncomfortable and super narrow. The kind receptionist suggested some sort of cushions to cover the springy mattress, but then the afternoon receptionist said they don't have any. We asked again in few days and they brought cushions, but it made little difference. Unfortunately, we did not sleep well while at the resort.
