Beautiful views and friendly staffPosted Feb 19, 2015
Pros: Comfort and views
Cons: More seating by the pool
Location: There is a great wildlife area just a few miles away that also has water activities. We took a kayak to a white sand beach.
We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The food was great and the room was well kept and very comfortable. The views were spectacular from every spot in the hotel including the pool area, dining area and room balcony. There was lots of wild life close by as well because of the remote setting. The only issue was limited space by the pool on the weekend days.

Très bon hotelPosted Feb 17, 2015
Très bon hotel. En revanche le restaurant ne sert que du surgelé et pas bon marche. Vue superbe et piscine très agréable

A hidden gemPosted Dec 7, 2014 on Hotels.com
The Hotel is off the beaten path. The room was clean and comfortable, although nothing fancy. The views were absolutely amazing and the staff was fantastic. We stayed for two nights and would have stayed for a few more if we didn't have a previous comittment. Breakfast was tasty and adequate. But again the view from the pool and room made the stay!

Very Nice HotelPosted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: The views & the quietness.
Cons: The menu in the restaurant is very limited & you should mention on the directions on how to get to the hotel that you should take a ferry.
Location: Not much to do near by, the location is very nice, a little bumpy road to get to the hotel, great place for a relaxing get away.
I was very pleased with my stay at the hotel, the views are beautifull, very relaxing enviroment, the hotel staff gives an excelent service, food is great.

Great View and Rooms but...Posted Jul 29, 2014 on Hotels.com
The view is spectacular. The infinity pool is truly the centerpiece of this hotel. The rooms are clean and nice, however, the food is so over priced and below average we nearly left. The menu consisted of 7 dishes that never changed and were, in terms of quality less than that of an average soda on the side of the road. To put this in perspective the one and only meal we ate came to 89.00 dollars (their prices are in dollars not colones) for a pork chop plate, two seafood and rice dishes, and spaghetti with meat sauce and two beers. My wife and 2 girls had water. The included breakfast was not fresh (left overs from day to day). Last but not least was the beautiful pool with a swim up bar that they would not open and have a sign hung out telling you not to bring anything in. And the hotel is so remote that you can't just walk some place and get something. You have to take a taxi or drive 15 minutes. We won't be ever staying there again.

Truly its own Nature preserve!Posted Jul 14, 2014 on Hotels.com
My friend and I stayed one night during our travels around CR. The view is unbelievable...the photos not only don't lie, they don't do it justice! Within hours we had seen almost as much wildlife as we had during a guided tour of Manuel Antonio National Park! Hummingbirds feed on the plants next to the pool, howler monkeys were in the trees, gorgeous iguanas were sunning themselves in the gardens...what a place. The owners are incredibly friendly as well. We even came back to visit a few days later as we had some time before the ferry arrived. (by the way, this is SO close to the ferry--it's really nice if you take a late ferry or are just dead tired!)

Excellent hotel in peaceful environmentPosted Jul 2, 2014 on Hotels.com
Staying in this hotel was one of my best experiences in Costa Rica. The accomodation looks tremendoes, the pool grants an extra-ordinary view. The food in the restaurant is good and the managers and employees give a warm welcome and will do their best to accomodate your wishes.. Will return here on a next trip!
