Good facilities including well equipped kitchen, pool, wifi, heated ski lockers (great for drying boots). All the staff were friendly and helpful - although generally you have to go to the reception of the hotel next door to find someone. And when the steam room was not working we were offered the use of the spa facilities in the hotel next door.
The best part is that the pass office, slope and lifts are 2 minutes away.
Just watch the parking charges in the underground car park if you drive there - about 15 euro per day. All factored in a transfer might have been cheaper than our option of a hire car.

I was incredibly impressed with this hotel. The staff were very friendly and made the effort to ask how you were everyday. The room was clean and very pleasant - in our case we had a triple room and it was sufficient size, comfortable, with a good size and clean bathroom. The hotel itself is quite unique with interchanging diagonal walkways to take into account the hotel being on the side of the mountain - quite good fun!
Breakfast was excellent every day and we were given a table as soon as we arrived (they opened a 2nd floor for breakfast when busy). The selection was excellent and they cooked fresh eggs if you wanted them.
We had dinner in the hotel one might (fondue) which was also very nice and competitively priced against other restaurants in the resort. Nice atmosphere and very tasty.
In the evenings the main bar has a live jazz band playing which was a very nice touch, and the bar was almost full every evening so a great atmosphere. In addition there is a lesser known casual bar downstairs which was fantastic - films, pool table, chess, poker etc, and all very friendly - highly recommend it. There was wifi throughout the hotel for free which was great.
Downstairs there was a ski locker and ski hire shop, and the hotel is right on the slopes - couldn't ask for more. There was also a pool and spa but we didn't use either.
We would all visit again, a really fantastic experience.

The hotel is situated with really easy access to the slopes (red run) which was just great. We stayed in an appartment as advertised for 4/5 ppl which was perfect for 3ppl, you would be cosy with more than 4 in the appartment.
It is a self catering appartment and I would recommend that you take your own food as the restaurants are very few and a very small spar which quickly sold out if fresh items. It stocked with a hob, microwave and pots etc.
Overall, I would recommend the hotel as a great base for a skiing holiday. The resort whilst small is fantastically situated between les arcs and la plagne, despite being half term we hardly queued at lifts and the slopes were numerous enough to have space to ski.

Pierre & Vacance Residence Andromede was the final destination of my stay (also the main reception area). P&V own 4 or 5 hotels in Belle Plagne, all situated in the same location, but upon arrival you can end up being situated in any of these.
I booked a P&V stay because I've used them before, I wasn't surpprised with what I got. The rooms are pretty much identical in design/layout across France. They have all the amenities you need, kitchen, dishwasher, cooker, TV and such. which is all you need.
What is most important is the view outside the window in the winter months.
This hotel offers Ski in/Ski out and is located at the top of the resort in Belle Plagne. A boot room is available, although I never used it. A SKI SET rental shop is next door, along with a supermarket opposite. Important with a self cantering apartment.
I found the resort of Belle Plagne fantastic! The amount of ski area is imense, I was with my 4y old daughter, so didn't get to use it to full capacity. 75% of runs in my opinion were Blue, although occasionaly became a Red, in steep sections.
The resort offers so much variety of things to do:
Ski by torch light at night.
An Olympic Bobsled Run
An Ice Grotto, carved out of the Glacier
Outdoor Swimming Pool, and lots more.....
There is a free bus shuttle between other Plagne resorts. Belle Plagne also has a 'Bubble' which runs till 1am, up & down to Plagne Bellecote, the resort below.
An awesome resort, that I will return to!

Good location and some friendly staff but others could do with a bit of a brush up on social skills!
Not able to get the keys till 5pm on the check in day is a bit restrictive and not opening the dining room so that you cn get a cup of tea/coffee after coming back in from the slopes is a downfall too.
