“Just plain cool”

This is in the best location.Close to all of the museums,and the greatest Bistros.You'll love this place..But get the Deluxe room if you stay in your rooms for long times.The Standard room is really small,but quit comfy..I'll go back in a minute....Ric

“Inexpensive Central Paris Hotel”

The hotel is located just a few blocks from the Seine with the Louvre directly across the river. We walked back from the Eiffel Tower which took approx 30-40 minutes and was quite a pleasant walk. The area around the hotel is very nice with lots of antique shops, cafes and restaurants. Yes the room was small but they are very comfortable and nicely decorated so if all you plan to do is sleep there, the Academie Hotel is more than adequate. Staff very pleasant and helpful also. Highly recommended.

“Charming and Affordable”

While the standard rooms are quite cozy (european for small), for a small charge, the upgrade to a deluxe room is worth the price. The hotel is located just off Boulevard St. Germaine and is centrally located to most of the tourist points of interest. I cannot praise the staff at the hotel highly enough. There was a need for an ambulance the first night of the stay, and two of them arrived with 8 medical techs within 5 minutes. Both the day and night shift were highly professional and friendly. I was more than a room, I was a part of the family for a week. This hotel is perfectly situated and suited for a visit to Paris.

“Great Staff and location”

This was my second trip to Paris and it was a delightful experience. I stayed at the Hotel Academie and the staff were great and very helpful. The location you can't beat. I did not eat breakfast there but everything looked good. I chose to walk around the neighborhood and eat at different places but I did hit Eric Keyser's place several times. The rooms are small but clean. If you are a larger person opt for a room with a bathtub as the shower is very small to get in and out of. if you need a ride to and from hotel, use their service as it's cheaper but be aware that they will drop off and pick up along the way. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

“charming hotel in perfect location”

Although all Paris hotel rooms are on the small side, this one was characterized by its good light,lovely decor, peaceful and quiet location and was lovely overall. The staff were friendly and helpful.We would stay there again.

“Beautiful and Perfect Location”

I visited Paris with my two children (ages 12 & 14). The hotel was perfect. I wanted to spend my vaction in an authentic hotel and not a generic hotel chain. The room was lovely. The breakfast was perfect. The location was amazing. 2 block walk from the River Seine and the Louvre. 1 block walk from the main Boulevard St. Germain by all the cafes, bus stops, taxis, train station, street vendors, pharmacy. Right in the middle of this beautiful city. Hotel staff were always very helpful and cheerful. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.

“Great Location”

A friend and I spent 6 days in Paris. Staying in the Acadamie Hotel was convenient to everything we wanted to do: - Breakfast at Les Deux Magots, visit the Lourvre and Musee D'Orsay, shop in St Germain des pres. Also it is close to a Metro stop which made it easy to get around Paris. Our room was quite large for Paris standards and the beds very comfortable. We didnt spend much time in the hotel but everything we needed was catered for well. We certainly would recommend this hotel.

“Excellent location, great staff, great room”

I recently stayed here for a week with a friend. After arriving quite early (9am) following our flight, the hotel staff found a room that we could check into early which was very much appreciated. Front desk was polite and helpful. As people have commented, the rooms are not huge, but it is Paris so you will not get huge rooms for this price. But the rooms were very clean, very quiet for location, and comfortable. And, the location is just amazing - close to the St. Germain Metro, many cafes nearby, and about 2 blocks from the Seine! Definitely recommend this place.
