Great location and wonderful front desk staff.Posted Dec 2, 2013
Pros: Location, staff
Location: Great restaurants, shops, Notre Dame and the Louvre are within walking distance.
Clean and comfortable hotel in the heart of the Left Bank. The front desk staff was very courteous and helpful. They all spoke English and provided us with great restaurant recommendations. The staff was very helpful and made our stay enjoyable. Rooms are on the small side, but bathrooms are updated. Ask for a room on the courtyard side as the street side can be a little noisy depending on time of day/evening. We all decided to stay at this hotel on our next visit.

Fantastic staff, great locationPosted Nov 7, 2013
Pros: Staff, location, style
Location: Great for the metro, loads of great shops and bistros along the side streets. We thought it was one of the best areas in Paris.
We booked this based on the reviews on both Expedia and Tripadvisor and weren't disappointed. The staff were great, incredibly efficient and helpful. We had a Superior room (120) and thought that the room size was fine although other reviews complained about room size. Because it was our anniversary trip the staff even had a complimentary bottle of Champagne on ice in our room on arrival! The location is excellent, over the road from one metro station and within 5 minutes walk to two others. St Germain is a great place to stay. We would also recommend popping into the cocktail bar attached to the hotel, as the barman is very helpful and makes great drinks. Would definitely stay here again!

Pros: Nice and very clean.Friendly staff and very quiet ,we got a room at the rear, no view, but don't hear any street noise
Cons: bigger sign, can't see the name well, maybe it's not allowed to have neon sign in Paris
nice small place in the heart of St Germain ,walking distance to the Louvre,Notre Dame,Museo de Orsay ,and the most beautiful garden i've ever seen the Luxembourg

Everything I hoped it would be!Posted Oct 7, 2013
Location: What we learned... Next time we would get the RER B from CDG to Saint Michel (to avoid 'messy' change at Chatelet onto metro) and then walk to hotel.
I had wanted to return to the St Germain area for many years. I had vague memories of fruit stalls and shops from when I visited in the 90's. The Artus hotel was just as I had hoped; a lovely boutique hotel in a great location for a weekend get away. The 'classic' room we were given did not look out onto Rue de Buci and that was fine. It was quiet and beautifully decorated. Loved the thick 'material' wallpaper! And the huge shower! Breakfast was lovely, staff very friendly. There were so many cafes, restaurants and patisseries nearby I would happily return to Boulevard St St Germain and, I don't do this very often, but I would even stay at this hotel again.

Good Location - Tired FacilitiesPosted Oct 2, 2013
Pros: The Conceierge was great. The rest of the staff was good.
The area in which the hotel was situated was great for our needs - right in the middle of Artisan's Way. Close enough to all major Paris attractions. Great cafes and restaurants

Very nice!Posted Sep 17, 2013
Perfect hotel. Location is great, rooms are large (at least larger than at some other more expensive hotels in Paris I stayed at before...). Staff is great, friendly and extremely attentive...

Cute Hotel in a great locationPosted Sep 5, 2013 on Hotels.com
The Artus Hotel is in an excellent location in the St Germain district. While the room size was on the smaller size, it was obvious that an effort had been made to supply all of the modern amenities including extra plugs etc. The hotel is just a few steps away from the metro which makes for easy access to the airports and TGV if necessary. The staff was courteous and helpful.

Ideal location in ParisPosted Sep 3, 2013
Pros: The hotel staff was friendly and the concierge, Sanjay, was incredibly friendly and helpful and I don't think I have ever had such excellent and perso
Location: Located in the middle of St. Germaine section of Paris, we were in walking distance from almost everything we wanted to see.
This was a perfect vacation for us, and the Hotel Artus was one of the reasons. The other, obviously, is being in Paris on vacation
