“Excellant place to stay”

The hotel oozes with charm. By American standards, the rooms were a bit small but they made up for it in style, cleanliness, quietness and charm. The staff was wonderful and had a great attitude of wanting to assist with any need we had. They helped us out every day finding places we needed to go and the metro connections we needed to make. The buffet breakfast was lovely (not included in room rate) and the hotel is a short distance to the metro station. I would definitely stay there again.

“Great hotel in a quiet part of Paris”

Austin's Arts et Metiers is in a great location, literally across the street from the metro stop, only about 9 blocks from the Center Pompideu, another 4 blocks from Notre Dame. It is a typical little Parisien hotel, but very nicely kept and clean, very little, but charming. I loved the location, very quiet but easily accessible to all of Paris. The staff was very helpful, with information and helpful in booking us transportation to CDG airport. There are numerous boulangeries and epiceries, (Carrefour, Monoprix) very close by within a block of the hotel. I will add that I am bilingual, so I only speak French when in France, however I don't think that non-French speakers would have any problems there.
