Well placed but priceyPosted Sep 13, 2014
Pros: The bed, the cleanliness, the breakfast, the location.
Cons: The cups and glasses could be more substantial.
Location: Location is excellent for the University and the grand avenues, the Sorbonne, Seine and Notre Dame.
I chose this hotel as it was close to the Conference Centre I was attending but was disappointed with the room as it was extremely small and pokey and looked out onto a bare wall. For the room rate quoted I thought it poor value. The shower was so small that if you stood in it under the shower head facing outwards your bottom pushed the water lever shut! I was probably given this room as I was a single occupent in a double-bedded room. Having said that, the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast at 16 euros was not bad, good choice of food with cereals, fresh fruit, pancakes, girdle scones, maple syrup, cheeses and cold meats, and a good choice of breads. rolls and croissants but still expensive. The best part of the stay, I guess! Staff were friendly and helpful and there was free wi-fi though you had to re-register each time you switched on even though you were told you had 24 hours access.

Way too expensive for what you get.Posted Sep 10, 2014
Pros: It was clean and pleasant enough.
Location: Close to Notre Damme and effectively in the Latin Quarter.
This accommodation had a lot to live up to. It was by far the most expensive on an 8 week holiday of 15 other places. It failed. It is fairly close to the centre of Paris but it had no charm. You know it hasn't tried hard enough when you can hear everyone else's plumbing. The room was small, just enough space to gain access to the double bed on each side. No way I would bother again, especially at that price.

Hotel had faulous locationPosted Sep 8, 2014
Pros: The location was so close to all the major sights and eating places
Cons: The location of the room when you are staying for a week
Location: Notre Dame was at the end of the street and we walked to the Louvre. The hop on/hop off buses were so close as was the RER/Metro
Location was the best but the double superior room was very small when you are staying for a week. My sister in law from Australia has a twin room and this was more spacious. We did ask to move to a bigger room but were told that the rooms were all the same size

Loved this hotel!Posted Sep 1, 2014
Pros: Location, room, amenities.
Location: Walking distance to Notre Dame, metro across the street, restaurants, shopping. We walked everywhere except Montmartre and Versailles.
This hotel was fabulous - great location, close to metro, restaurants, and shopping. The room was average-sized to Europe standards but was updated and modern. Best part? Kettle, instant coffee and tea! The breakfast was expensive (16 euro each) so we walked the wonderful back streets of the 5th arrondissement for a breakfast snack. Can't say enough good things about this hotel!

Perfect for the single touristPosted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: Real American shower
Location: Walking distance to the Sorbonne, Notre Dame, , St. Chappelle, the Louvre
Spotless and comfortable, though tiny. Perfect size for one AND it had a real shower, unlike many Paris hotels. Breakfast was very good although not included. GREAT location in the Latin Quarter, walk to everything including Notre Dame. HIghly recommend.

Excellent hotelPosted Aug 7, 2014
The hotel was wonderfully located; just a short walk from Notre Dame and serveral restaurants. The hotel staff at the front desk was very helpful. The rooms were very clean, and there was a fair amount of room, considering its central location. The only downside would be the small elevator and hallways, but that is to be expected.

Great locationPosted Aug 4, 2014
The hotel was excellently located a block from the Sorbonne & two from Notre Dame. We walked everywhere and close to the buses and subway. The room was small but clean with a huge tub in the bathroom. The staff were all pleasant and helpful to us whenever we inquired about anything. I would strongly recommend this hotel.
