“American in Paris”
The hotel was great for American's visting. Everyone spoke english and the rooms were nice. The downside is the location was far from the main drag.
“Not 4 star hotel definetly”
The hotel is old,it is not 4 star hotel at all!!!the rooms are very small, when we have checked in the room was terribely smelling cigarette.and it is very expensive for this price
“Great hotel and location”
Very nice and clean rooms. Across the street is a cafe to the left, a bakery and supermarket to the right. Very convenient location. Metro station is to the right a few step to the back of hotel. It's in a great location. The staff are wonderful. They speak English and are very helpful. I definitely will choose this hotel again.
“good location & friendly front desk people”
First time in Paris. We could see from our balcony the Arc de Triomphe (at the distance) which was really nice. The room was clean and comfortable. We could definitely go back to this hotel.
“Very friendly hotel - quiet neighborhood!”
I will recommend this hotel in Paris. It is very nice and clean. The hotel staff are very friendly and courteous. The room is clean and well painted. The bathroom is very small and will not accommodate big size people. The lift is very small and is good for 3 passengers without baggages. We enjoyed climbing the stairs, instead of waiting for the lift. The place is in a quiet neighborhood and is just 15 minute walk to the Champ Elysee.
“A nice place to rest your head but don't expect to sleep past 5:30 am”
The best food we had in all of Paris was at the baker across the street. Hotel was very nice. The room was a bit small hardly any room for our lugage but we managed. The Bathroom was a large saize only draw back was you had to climb a few stairs up from the bedroom to get to it. Not very convienant in the middle of the night. The staff was curtious and spoke english and was helpful when we needed to find something. The bed was comfortable and the sheets where soft. The room always had fresh towels and little soaps ect replenished everyday. The only other bad thing about the room I would say was there must have been a service entrance beside our room cuz every morning at about 5:30 am on and off there was a little banging of some kind of metal and slaming of doors outside our room and lets say was hard to get much sleep. All in all i would stay there again but not in that same room.
“Very cool boutique hotel with extremely helpful staff in great location.”
see above. Great location for both walking to arc de triumph, metro, and local ambiance. Exceptional staff made our stay delightful. I've been to paris multiple times, and this hotel has been my favorite.
“Will go back, definitely.”
Very good location, close to Metro and a bit away from the tourist traffic. Excellent for business travelers. 10 min walk from Arch de Triomfe, and even less to Parc Monceau. Abundance of nice cafes around, Close to to Pereire Levalouis so taxi ride to airport more predictable. 40-45Euro to Charles DeGaulle airport.
“Best Western Mercedes ....I enjoyed it!!!”
Excellent Staff!! Night personnel excellent!! Tried to practice spanish with us, he really tried and made an effort. Relatively close to arc a short 10-15 min walk away. Nice Restaurants close by, a super market right next door. Small elevator as is the norm in europe.
“Great value, helpful Englsh-speaking employees, tiny shower”
Great value, Metro is on the end of the same block. Very friendly and helpful English-speaking employees at the front desk. The hotel was very small and had a winding staircase, with small "lift" (large enough for two people) for those not wishing to climb stairs. The lift was not working one day, which would have been very inconvenient if you were on the 6th floor. The room was small, but clean and comfortable. The bathroom was a normal size, but the shower was smaller than even those on a cruise ship. My daughter and I are not large people, but even we could hardly turn around in the shower without accidentally turning the water faucet off with our behind. We only stayed 3 days, so this was just a slight inconvenience but I couldn't wait to get home to a normal size shower. Overall, it was a good hotel at a very reasonable price.
