“Good Location”
Great location, next to several metro and RER stations and right in front of the main shopping area. The room is extemely small however comfortable with good bed and clean bathroom. If you are very noise sensitive, you can hear the metro passing at times. Great location if you will be using it mostly for a good nights sleep and exploit the great location during the day.
“GREAT HOTEL IN THE WORLD'S MOST BEAUTIFUL CITY !”
GREAT SERVICE AND BETTER LOCATION !
“Slightly dissapointed”
This hotel is well overrated as well as overpriced.
“Great location”
This was a nice hotel. The staff was friendly. The area was good and it was close to a subway station. I had two main problems with the hotel. One everytime the subway went by which was about every 10 minutes or so you could feel it in the building and hear it. I have never stayed at a hotel where I could feel the subway go by each time. Second problem and this is why I can't recommend it. When I booked the hotel there was only going to be two adults and one child, my 5 year old daughter. Due to unforseen circumstances, my mom was also there for one night. The hotel would not let us check in until we agreed to buy a second hotel room. They were even upset that in a king size room, we had two adults and my daughter in it. Really for a five year daughter? Of course the second room was at full rack rate and not the rate I was given on the first room which was more than double the room rate I paid for on the first room. And then to find out after all that you had to pay extra to watch any TV, or listen to music. I have heard of nickel and diming you, but this took the cake. So no I do not recommend this hotel.
“A FINE BOUTIQUE HOTEL IN A GREAT PARIS LOCATION”
THE FRONT DESK PEOPLE WERE ALWAYS VERY HELPFUL AND ALL SPOKE ENGLISH.THE ROOM WAS SPOTLESS ,THE AIR CONDITIONING WORKED GREAT, AND THE BATHROOM WAS MODERN WITH A SHOWER WITH WONDERFUL WATER PRESSURE. THE LOCATION WAS FANTASTIC.
“Good hotel. We'll be back.”
This hotel was ideally located for us, within easy walking distance to Laduree for wonderful pastries, coffee, hot chocolate and much more, the gardens, the Louvre, Rodin, etc. Desk staff speak English and are very helpful. New decor still keeps the charm but is clean, fresh and comfortable with air conditioning, bathroom with shower. With the window closed, it's quiet at night even though we're right in the city. We'll be back.
“Definitely would go back”
I wanted to write a review because when I was trying to make a reservation, there were so many opinions and I had a very difficult time making a decision. This hotel is quite nice and we were very satisfied. The staff spoke great English, were very helpful and pleasant. I had booked 2 rooms for my family of 5. When I called to have the rooms adjoining, I was told this was not possible, but that I would be happy when I saw the rooms, she was right. The 2 rooms had individual doors as well as one shared private main door. We locked the main door and were quite comfortable. We booked one classic and one superior room. It was odd that the Superior room (more expensive) was slightly smaller than the classic room. Both bathrooms were modern and clean. We were on the 300 level. Yes you can hear the trains rumble in the dead of night and early morning but it didn't disturb us at all. The Madeline station is literally at the end of the block. So that provides easy access to all the Paris attractions. I am told you can walk but we took the train. The street is busy during the day, but the area dies down at night. While it is still safe, it is probably more suited to families, couples, in fact anyone not looking for a rowdy bar scene. We never ate the 19 Euro breakfast, since there is a pastry shop about a minutes walk and a Starbucks was also close by.
“Great little hotel near everything...”
Room was perfectly clean with amazing bath products. Small but to be expected in Paris. AC worked great and the bed was in good condition. Two minute walk to the Madeline metro station. Walking distance to the Louvre, Champs Elysees and Saint Honore shopping!! The service was very nice, but did not speak much english. However, we showed up early (our flight got in at 6:30 am on a Sunday) and they didn't have a room ready yet. So, they gave us a free breakfast which was not necessary. It was amazing.
