Amazing area.

Posted Sep 20, 2014
Pros: The staff were polite and extremely helpful. Our room was extremely comfortable and clean.
Cons: The wi-fi signal was extremely poor. But it also provided a nice break from the internet world!
Location: This hotel was central to all we wanted to see. Lovely area!
The hotel was a little difficult to find, although help from locals we finally found the lovely hotel. The hotel was surrounded by amazing restaurants and landmarks.

Nice Location, good breakfast.

Posted Sep 11, 2014
Pros: Location and quiet.
Location: In the middle of tourist area but 15 minutes away from neat spots.
Yes, rooms and elevator are small but if you want more, pay twice the rate. Breakfast spread very nice despite negative comments. We had a ball for 5 days.

Squashed in between two shops!!!

Posted Sep 4, 2014
Pros: Home time
Cons: Everything
Location: Very close to Notre Dame, in walking distance, and right outside the Metro train station, so you could use that to get to all the sights.
On arrival we expected Best Western quality, as we are regulars at Best Western Hotels. Do not under any circumstances expect this of this hotel. It was a tiny building squashed in between two shops in a very very busy and noisy part of Notre Dame. The reception area was barely large enough to wheel luggage through, and the staff were curt to say the least. There was a very steep staircase and the lift was really only suitable for one person. The rooms were small, and although clean, the view was atrocious, of generators and other rooms. The breakfast room was tiny and we had to queue to get a seat, service was very poor and the choice was minimal. Ordering breakfast in bed was a farce, as it arrived late and was a couple of rolls and a pot of black coffee. Emailing the hotel in advance for champagne for the room for our first anniversary was pointless, as they never replied and put us in the worst room possible. The staff were pushy trying to get us to book trips and taxis, obviously on commission, and overall the whole Paris experience for a very special trip was ruined by this Hotel. Such a shame as it was very expensive and we cannot repeat the experience again.

Value for money

Posted Aug 10, 2014
Pros: Location, facilities and efficient and friendly staff.
Location: Handy to public transport and within walking distance of many landmarks. Good selection of eateries in the area.
Second stay at this hotel in 2 years and would you believe it they gave us the room next to the one we had previously !! Terrific location and handy for what we needed. Clean and comfortable room plus a more than adequate breakfast with something for everyone. Good "value for money" given its location. Would not however recommend using the lift if you're claustrophobic !! And if I make another trip to Paris I would be very happy to stay here again.

4 Star Hotel with Non functioning air-conditioning

Posted Aug 6, 2014
Pros: The staff was very friendly.
Cons: The Air-conditioning was non functional having that fixed would help.
Location: It is right by the Metro station which is great for getting around. It is also close to Notre Dame.
This Hotel was rated a 4 star but it really should be a 3 star with a 4 star breakfast. The staff was nice but the rooms were just o.k. The beds were a bit hard. The air-conditioning didn't work and we asked several times to have it fixed.

Around the corner from Notre Dame and a 2 min walk to the Metro. Wonderful balcony & view from our room on the 5th floor. Loved it here and would stay again.

Convenient place to stay

Posted Jul 8, 2014
Pros: Convenient location
Cons: Can' t think of anything....
Location: Lots of restaurants nearby, nice and close to the river for those evening strolls.
This hotel is situated right next to the seine and in the Latin quarter.... So many restaurants and cafes to choose from. Plus it is only 2 mins walk to the metro and RER lines so you can get to anywhere in paris. Highly recommended.

Great location

Posted May 31, 2014
Pros: Its position, accommodation and staff
Cons: The lift was quirky being "petite'
Location: Very close to Notre D Cathedral - the Seinne - Metro - Botabus - Sourbon - Pantheon - places to eat and drink
Central, within easy reach of transport and visitor attractions
