Clean and comfortable hotelPosted Dec 2, 2013
Hotel situated on banks of river, 10 minute walk from metro station. Nice hotel with all usual facilities and great value for money. Very clean with friendly, knowledgable, helpful staff. Nice restuarant and varied menu. Felt safe in hotel and on walks to and from metro and it was nice and quiet. We would def stay again.

Campanile Paris NordPosted Oct 8, 2013
Pros: Clean rooms and good value for money
Cons: Staff people skills
Location: It is not a good location if you do not have a car
The Hotel was a good 10mins walk from the Metro at night this is a dark area with little persons about on weekends. The Staff where less then helpful when I asked a question about a taxi from Bastille back to the hotel, I was told that they did not know the cost. Also I wanted to ask the night staff member a question and he started to talk on his Mb phone and walked away outside the hotel to avoid my question. The place is generally clean and room is stock standard which I expected for the price. So my only beef is with the staff not being helpful.

Intruding MaidPosted Aug 20, 2013
Cons: The maids need to be patient and polite.
Location: It's about a 20 minute walk to the Metro station and from there maybe 15 minutes to downtown Paris.
The maid didn't believe in knocking and seemed upset with us for not being out of the room before 9. On our final day, we had an 11:00 checkout and she expressed frustration that we had not checked out before 10. A little after 10:30, while we're gathering our things, she comes in the small room and begins stripping the beds. The staff behind the counter were polite and friendly. They lock their doors at 11pm and after that, you need to ring the door bell.

One that you should never considerPosted Aug 19, 2013
Cons: The receptionists
Location: Very rundown and scary
Appalling reception service. Was checking in at night in an unfamiliar area. Called hotel reception and staff was very unhelpful and patronising. Even got better help from another nearby hotel where we were not booked. Room was booked for 3. Yet set up for 2. Very smelly. Staff was on personal call instead of talking to us. Spent 3 hours trying to locate the hotel. Receptionist was very unsympathetic and did not offer any form of apology

Great for anyone wanting to stay outside the big cPosted Aug 6, 2013
Pros: Convenience and great view of the river
Cons: No chairs or tables to sit outside to admire the river view
Location: Local shop and bars, 15 min walk to metro
Perfect for a short stay and 30 mins from Paris is a bonus. The staff are very approachable friendly and helpful

Dont expect a warm "goodnight"!!Posted Jul 22, 2013
Pros: location; daytime staff
Cons: horrible late night staff member
Location: comfortable 20 minute walk from Stade de France - but don't be fooled by the "riverside location"; pretty grim and industrial
Overall, the hotel was clean, comfortable, ideally suited for the Stade de France. Regular staff were charming and helpful, but I will never return due to the unbelievable incivility, aggression and rudeness of the guy who was manning the reception/bar overnight. A number of extremely pleasant couples and groups returned from the Springsteen concert wanting a drink and a chance to talk about their evening, to be met with surliness and naked disdain. He obviously didn't want to be there; he had no name badge, and refused to give me his name. Shame, cos rest of staff were lovely (as they almost - almost - invariably are at Campanile)

Very disappointedPosted Jun 20, 2013 on Hotels.com
Hotel was at the very end of a train line that was not in a good neighborhood. No taxi's or information booth to be found so we used phone GPS to find hotel and had to walk through scary area's and thru trashcans to get to it. Then when entering they we using a riged up broom as a mop cleaning the floors with no caution signs. The front desk was not helpful when ask about how to see the sites of Paris from this hotel. We went upstairs with no offer to help us with luggage to a room that as OK. We immediately starting looking for another hotel even though this one was paid for in advance. I have used your website in the past and never had this happen so very disappointed and out the extra money.

Hotel stay was good. Just the rooms were sooooo tiny. Maybe thats just Paris. Room was comfy and clean. Area- I was not to crazy about... lots of North Africans and muslims. Scary atmosphere. Looked like Pakistan.
