Thank God one nightPosted Nov 6, 2013
Cons: Food in restaurant, take care of your customer needs and complains. The room was not up to par.
Location: Industrial, nothing to do
When we arrived no one at desk, everybody busy serving the restaurant. Once the desk clerk came and gave me my room key, and wanted to know if I wanted dinner or breakfast. I told him I need to go to my room before I made a decision. The room was clean but very stark no frills. The instructions on how to connect to Internet did not work. Tried the TV did it not work, tried the blow drier did not work. It took 3 phone calls to get someone to answer at the desk. Someone was going to come up in 10 minutes. Half an hour later still no show. I go down and ask for help with my IPad, he connects me, the instructions are all wrong. Told me will be up to look at the problem, he thinks electric. Went to bed nobody ever came up to check it. As for the restaurant the buffet, they try to push, was dry and not appetizing. Dessert were bad, even the salad buffet had nothing to recommend it for the price. I would never stay there again, I rather pay for the extra ride to Paris. They figured you are transient and they did care.

Nice hotel with airport shuttle servicePosted Oct 24, 2013
Booked for proximity and airport shuttle service. The hotel was clean and comfy, staff was friendly and helpful, onsite restaurant was nice, and the food was good. A great place for before/after flights.

They may sell out your prepaid room to others.Posted Oct 16, 2013
Location: The hotel is pretty much in a no-man's land, and the hotel shuttle and taxi are the only two practical ways to go between the hotel and the airport.
We booked the hotel through Expedia. By the time we arrived there late in the evening, the hotel told us that they gave us a "premiere room". We thought that was some sort of upgrade. After we got in the room we realized that it was another lower-grade hotel next to Campenile and operated by the same owner. The utilitarian compact room was jammed with 4 beds; one of them on top of two others. There was no phone in the room, and naturally no morning calls which was essential for a stay-over to catch the flight. The counter person simply brushed off all responsibilities by blaming it on the person working on the earlier shift, saying that he couldn't understand why they gave away my room but there was nothing he could do as the hotel was fully occupied. No descent hotels should operate in this manner.

End of France vacationPosted Oct 14, 2013
Pros: The proximity to CDG airport
Cons: Answer your email inquiries so a person know where to go.
Location: We were not interested in doing anything but having a good meal and getting rest before our long trip home to the US
I emailed them to find out exactly how to get there from CDG airport and did not get an answer in time. Therefore we took the wrong bus from CDG airport and arrived at another hotel. There, they told us we would have to go to the other Campanile the other side of the airport. We took a cab there and the fare was 85 euros. We hadn't expected to pay to get to the hotel so we were very disappointed that we had not received a reply from you telling us which bus to take from CDG. Very poor communication on your part and expensive for us. Also the dinner choices were very limited and disappointing for our last night in France.

fine for airport hotelPosted Oct 12, 2013
Pros: Close to CDG airport.
Cons: It was fine for what it was. Not exactly luxury but it doesn't pretend to be. Basic and ok.
Location: Very little around the hotel to do or places to eat.
We just stayed there for an inexpensive hotel close to CDG airport. It was fine for that purpose. The shuttle runs often and on time. The rooms were clean and comfortable enough. I recommend it for the night before a return flight.

"Airport Hotel"Posted Oct 8, 2013
Pros: It was very clean, and even though the rooms are very small, we were aware of that through the Expedia website.
Cons: The service in the hotel's cafe was terrible. Even after we finally asked if we could be served, no one came and we left after 30 minutes of waiting.
Location: We were not there long enough to go anywhere, but the distance with the shuttle to and from the airport was convenient.
We had a good experience with the accommodations and easy shuttle ride from and back to the airport.

Convenient to airport, hard to findPosted Oct 3, 2013
Pros: Convenient, clean, good value
Cons: See above
Location: It is isolated, there is nothing much closeby.
We have stayed in quite a few Campaniles, this one wasn't up to the usual standard. The hairdryer didn't work, the towels were thin, the main room light was out, and the Internet connection didn't function as it should. The reception was not particularly friendly, a bit stressed, the service in the restaurant was quite poor. This looks like a new hotel that needs to complete their training of staff and develop effective procedures.

Close to CDG airport in ParisPosted Sep 28, 2013
Pros: Fairly new modern facilities.
Cons: Allow prepaid guests to make charges to their room as long as a cc has been deposited. More towels need to be provided, only 2 bath towels provided.
Location: In an industrial area, very close to airport and noisy.
The hotel is just a few years old, has a nice restaurant, offers free airport shuttle service (about a 10 minute ride) and the front counter staff was very friendly and helpful with at least one person on staff at all times who spoke English. It is important to note if your room was booked and prepaid by Expedia, you are then not able to charge meals and/or beverages to your room and must pay for them at each time of purchase which is inconvenient. The rooms get stuffy even though they have a heating/cooling system. We were not able to adjust it to cool air, which was just circulating the warm air. We were able to open the window of our room on the second floor but it was in a non secure area, therefore it could not be left open at night to cool the room.

Small hotelPosted Sep 18, 2013
Pros: The staff was great
Cons: It could be a bit cleaner and the hallway reeked of stale cigarette smoke
Location: it is very near CDG and the free shuttle to and from the airport was a God's send
I arrived at the hotel quite late and dinner was in the process of being cleared. the clerk was very accommodating and offered to have the staff wait until i could get settled and come back down to get a tray. He even offered to let me eat in the dining room if I preferred. The hotel is very small, which I don't mind. The shower had a bit too much pressure and cleaned the wall behind me pretty well. There was some mold above the shower I found disconcerting. They did have the instant coffee/tea and some biscuits which was a nice surprise.
