“A taste of luxury”
The hotel is ideally situated for getting around all the tourist attractions. Hotel staff were extremely courteous and helpfull. and the bedroom was clean roomy and tastefully decorated.
“Highly recommended”
Excellent hotel: friendly staff, lovely rooms, good location. Would definitely stay there again.
“Great... but beware of the nuts!”
Fantastic place to stay but watch out for the little containers of what appear to be complementary nuts and sweets they are part of the mini bar and v expensive. Lovely hotel though
“One of my best hotel experience”
Definitely on the top of my hotel list, extremely good service, English was conveniently used in the hotel from doorman to concierge. Very well use of space, overall felt very much like home.
“Great Hotel / Great Location”
The people are extremely helpful and friendly. The location of the Hotel cannot be beat. 2 blocks from Rue Rivoli near Place de la Concorde and a block from La Madeline. The restaurant in the Hotel is EXCELLENT! A trifle pricey, but if that isn't your concern the location is great.
“Charming and we would stay here again!”
The Castille was quaint and charming. The window boxes filled with flowers made it easy to spot and it was close walking distance to the Louve. The room was spacious and the bath large compared to other Europeon properties. We stayed July 27 - 29, 2009.
“Hotel with lots of character”
The hotel was clean and comfortable, with some very gallic decour! The staff were very helpful, even though our French was not exactly fluent. It is also really well located in the centre of the city, within walking distance of all the major attractions. The rooms were not huge but very comfortable and well maintained. A really enjoyable stay and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone.
“wonderful hotel”
We arrived to the Starhotels Castille and were immediately impressed with the location as well as the interior of the hotel. The staff was friendly and most spoke perfect English. We found our origial room to be beautiful, but on the small side. We mentioned this to the staff at the front destk and within a half hour the manager had upgraded us to an unblievable room for no addtional cost. This was my fifth trip to Paris and this hotel was by the most wonderful I have stayed in. Can't wait to return!
“Very pleased--highly recommended!”
Our room (#502) was very nice and not at all claustrophobic. We had a view of the courtyard and can see a part of the Eiffel Tower. We had an amazing deal on Expedia and couldn't pass it up. The location was amazing. We were next door to the original Chanel store and facing the Ritz. This is the 1st time we stayed in the fancier part of town. We have stayed in the Marais and St. Germain. This is definitely a splurge hotel but definitely worth it! Overall, highly recommended.
“Recommend Hotel”
I would highly recommend this hotel, especially for those who never visited Paris before. This was our first trip to Paris and the location of the hotel made it convenient for us to see all the sites we wanted to see. The hotel was in the center of Paris with walking distance to Louvre, metro, small cafes, and a convenience store. The rooms were descent in size, clean, the staff were friendly, and they all spoke English. The only downside was breakfast was not included w/our stay but there was plenty of cafes in the area for a quick bite in the morning.
