Corona Paris is located on a quiet street in the city centre. The hotel offers easy access to the city's public transportation network, popular shops and dining venues, as well as various attractions including theatres, museums, and galleries. The foyer has marble floors and is decorated with several chandeliers and mirrors. Breakfast is served daily in the breakfast room or in-room for a fee. “Great Hotel in Paris-Conveniently located and friendly service.”
Corona L'Opera is centrally located in Paris so it is a just a block to the metro station where you can get to every place in Paris. A boutique-type hotel, the desk knew our key number personally and was always friendly and helpful yet professional. The room we had was a suite which is unusual in a lot of typical european type hotels but we traveled with our two teenage children so the room was spacious for all of us with a convenient toilet room separate from the shower/sink. The Corona has all the typical features that one might imagine in a Parisian hotel-classic elevator, early 20th century decor, pretty carpet yet our room had brand new lavatory features all working and clean. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a safe area, close to everything and has some class to it without pricing one out of the ballpark.
“Disappointing”
Hotel needs updating. A little run down with a tiny elevator not large enough for 2 people with luggage. It's location in L'Opera district is convenient, but undesirables tend to hang out in entrance to the Cite Bergere "alleyway" in the latter part of the day. Staff was very pleasant and helpful and the room was tidy.
“Hotel shuttle service a joke!”
The hotel was satisfactory until our last day. Earlier in the week we were asked if we wanted to take the hotel's recommended shuttle service. After being assured that it would be taking only us to the airport, and not driving around Paris to pick up others, we paid the required fee. You guessed it! On the day of departure they arrived more than a half an hour late with another couple already in the van and then proceeded to go elsewhere to pick up another couple. With Paris traffic, and not taking the most direct route (Having, lived there for 10 years, we knew our way around!), we barely made our plane as we were the last ones on!
“Wonderful people, wonderful service”
My mom, sister and I stayed for a week and the hotel staff were excellent. They catered to our every need. The hotel is centrally located, very close to the Gard D'Nord and other transportation. Also very close to some great restaurants. This is my third time in Paris and I will certainly return to this hotel.
