Small room in excellent location

Posted Sep 18, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Interior lighting and quality of the bathroom
Location: Excellent location in the 6th arr.
Small simple room, pretty basic. Interior lighting was poor and bathroom was very old (in a charmless way rather than with character). No view, just overlooking a dark dingy courtyard. Bed was firm and comfortable. You're basically paying a high price because of the location, but I would recommend the hotel and stay there again.

Good Hotel

Posted Sep 9, 2014
Location: Shops & restaurants nearby.
First of all, a big thank you to Bruno who was so nice and helpful to us during our stay. He gave us a great room (one of the newer ones) that was comfortable and pleasing. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of St Germain which is lively and festive with all the restaurants and shops. The only negative was that at times it got a little noisy. Will definitely stay at this hotel again and I recommend it to others.

your typical small hotel in paris.

Posted Aug 2, 2014
Pros: It was clean, comfortable, typical. I have been to Paris 8 times now. This hotels are all the same and vary in quality. This is one is upper quality.
Cons: typical tiny elevator that only fits 2 people.
Location: Louis Vuitton, Brasserie Lipp, Blvd. Saint Germain
This is your typical tiny small hotel in paris. it is perfectly located in Saint Germain De Pris. We were right behind Le Deaux Magot brasserie. and right across the street from Brasserie Lipp. So whenever we got a cab we would just say take us to Brasserie Lipp (the most famous brasserie in Paris) and every cab driver knew where to take us. You are 1 block from Louis Vuitton, Sonia Rykiel, Etro, etc. The place was small. The rooms small. Everything was fine and decent.

Great location...

Posted Jul 13, 2014
While not large, we (3 of us) had space enough for all our stuff. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was a great size, though it did need some work. Very close to the metro, great restaurants and cafés, as well as shopping. We could walk to the Louvre in 15 minutes. I'd stay there again.

Great location

Pros: The location and charm.
The staff was acommodating and personable. The location couldn't be better. Definitely a spot if it's your first visit to Paris, as it was mine. In walking distance to the Louvre and Notre Dame if you like to walk.

Amazing location and lovely lady manageress

Posted Jun 2, 2014
Pros: Location and the day staff
Cons: The rooms could use a bit of a revamp but good bed linen, comfortable beds and considering the great value the rooms are just fine.
Location: Loads of Paris' most famous restaurants, Cafe Flore, Cafe Deux Maggots, Le Petit Zinc and just walking down Rue de Buci in the evening
The best location in Paris to see and experience the city. A lovely hotel which is a fraction of the price of other nearby hotels. Great for a family of 3 as rooms fit a 3rd person, unusual to find in Paris.
