Let's start with the positive... The multilingual staff are professional, polite, extremely helpful and generally faultless. The reception is manned 24 hours per day, so you can take your time exploring Paris and not have to rush to get back. Breakfast is an optional extra which I which was limited but still very nice. It is situated in a great area just of Place de Clichy, which has everything you need around it such as a Metro station, cafés, restaurants, cinema, nightclubs, KFC, McDonalds (if you're in a hurry), chemists, Moulin Rouge, the café from the film Amelie, florists (should you be meeting your date in Paris) and even a video store, to name just a few. My room had a TV, plenty of power points and a reasonable bathroom.
So what's the catch? My room was very small, comfortable but small. The storage drawers had blankets in them, so only a coat rail for hanging clothes and a bench to put your suitcase/bag on. There was also a desk and chair. The room is so cramped that you couldn't even open the bathroom door fully, and I'm not joking. For me this was not a problem. I only needed a place to sleep of a night, and I was staying for three nights, so not the end of the world. It also mentions WiFi, but sadly it did not seem to connect to anything, so technically yes it does have WiFi but you will need to visit one of the nearby restaurants if you want internet access.
In short, it's a great place to sleep, at a reasonable rate, in a great location with welcoming staff.
